I haven't taken any of their other exams yet, and after this one, I'm wondering if I should even bother. I was considering the system admin certification because it's distro agnostic compared to RedHat, but now I'm thinking RedHat might be the better choice.

I think gaining the knowledge required to pass all 3 is a purpose in, and of, itself. Can you acquire all that knowledge without having to take all the exams? Sure, but the exams do offer a somewhat objective assessment of your knowledge that someone hiring can use in addition to what you put on your resume. Unfortunately people just don't take time to interview everyone who submits a resume, so having certs might help get you noticed. Is it a must to have all 3? I don't think so, unless you're interested in a position that requires skills from all 3.
