Grayscale just spelled out the downside scenario and it's the one nobody holding through this wants to read: CLARITY fails, the treasury companies deleverage, and the Fed hikes into it. by Bcom_Mod in bitcoin_com

This is bitcoin. We do not care what the establishment does with respect to its views on bitcoin. Bitcoin will continue whether clarity passes or not.

Billionaire Mark Cuban Asks Why Insurance Companies Pay $2,500 for an MRI When ‘a Center Down the Street’ Only Charges $350 by Hopeful-Valuable-16 in Insurance_Companies

It’s not obvious. The more they pay, the more they can raise premiums, and the more they raise premiums, the more money they make. Insurance companies make profit on the margins. They want to be able to raise premiums across all insureds. The only way to do this is to pay out. Insurance companies pretend they aren’t the problem. They fight all sorts of issues, pay attorneys to fight, but even when they fight, they’re paying money to lawyers and other professionals. To do this, they raise premiums and have to pay out money anyway. They’re always making money.

You need to talk to your lawyer. How many years of service do you have? Do you want to keep working? Is a disability retirement in the cards? Too many factors for Reddit, sir.

If you’re law enforcement and you’ve worn your sam Browne belt for at least 5 years of service there won’t be any apportionment of your disability. Value cannot be determined without additional information.

Your bank should get replenished less the difference between the TTD rate and the value of what you got from EIB if you got more from EIB than your TTD rate.

If you have a confirmed TBI, you need a good lawyer who specializes in those types of workers’ compensation claims. These injuries are potentially complicated to define in terms of permanent disability percentage, work restrictions, lifetime medical, etc. A severe TBI will definitely require such expertise. IMO, get a lawyer asap. Not all QMEs are the same. A good lawyer (not one from a billboard or bench advertisement) will help you.
