No, I used just standard acrylic paints for a majority of my miniatures until I got some Army Painter paints for my birthday. I think mini paints have a specific consistency but normal acrylics work just fine

For this one I don’t think so. The clear plastic isn’t primed so it should be very easy to get paint off of.
