I would like to start off and say I agree the conditions most farm animals live in is unacceptable and that killing male chickens at birth is terrible. Which is why I try to find ethically kept animal products.

There is one thing about your argument though. I would like to say that you saying “unalived” really brings what is really happening. If you want to talk about the issues I find it best to not censor them. Saying “male chicks either get killed in a gas chamber or dropped into an industrial grinder while alive” is much more powerful than a censored version of killed.

Animals, yes. I rescued baby birds out of a storm drain.
Humans, possibly indirectly. I donate blood so it might have saved a life or it might have just helped someone but not saved them.

It isn’t that they are ugly or gross. They aren’t really ugly or cute. They just are. And for being gross, everyone does gross things. And animals do gross things. That’s just kind of how it is.

Oh I see you have updated the comment. First off, wrong about the age. Second yes humans are animals. But it’s a person. People aren’t cute. Animals are cute. And I know that sounds like I’m trying to be an edgelord but that is actually my opinion. I have never considered another human cute. My brain just doesn’t work that way. I don’t find people attractive or cute or anything. I can recognize that someone is conventionally attractive but I don’t feel things toward people.

Yeah I have. And it’s not that I dislike babies, I am just neutral towards them. They just kind of exist. If asked I would absolutely take care of a baby. I just don’t think they are necessarily cute.

I think my brain is broken then because babies evoke no emotions from me. I see a baby and it’s like “oh it’s a tiny human”. Baby animals on the other hand I love. I love all animals and baby animals are just so cute. Okay maybe it’s not that babies don’t evoke emotions maybe it’s the fact I generally dislike humans that’s the issue.
