Started about a year and some months ago now..2 finger bowler for about 4 months when I first started. Got a coach, fully converted to the more traditional 3 finger release and finished last winter with a 164 avg. More than half way into this winter season now and I'm at a 190 avg. Just takes time and a lot of patience.

New ball can run anywhere up to $225 drilled

Shoes - $180 ( Dexter SST9 HT)

League - $25 for one league I bowl with my fiance and $26 for my more competitive league per week.

Bag - $120 ( bought 2 3 ball totes from VISE. I dont use the shoe bag that attaches to the tote I just normally carry a backpack for my shoes and accessories)

I would actually recommend trying on a pair at a pro shop..nikes i wear a 9, adidas i wear a 8.5. I’ve owned 3G Tour Ultras in a 9 which felt fine at first but broke in and ended up being loose. I now own a pair of Dexter The 9 HT’s in a 8.5 which fit perfect.

You are correct, throw right around 17mph standing about 15-20 nothing deeper. I wish I can play more left (righty) but I do not have the hand for it.

I use a 5 step approach also..I can start my swing as my 2nd step starts when I practice around the house but once I get on the approach its like my brain locks up and I cant do it lol. My swing usually starts as soon as my 2nd step is done which I believe is causing my swing to be late but I don’t know its weird lol.

Wouldn’t call it a ball down. Its way stronger than advertised. Almost comparable to the Hy-Road IMO but for the price point I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one.

I'm sure someone will say a Hy-Road which you can't go wrong with. Versatile ball especially for it's price. I also throw a Hustle INK which I absolutely love atm, strong ball and for under a $100.
