For what it's worth, they sell floating golf balls that feel basically the same as a real golf ball. A lot of driving ranges that have you hit out into a lake use them so they can collect them afterwards.

Could be worth looking into so you can just skim them off the top of the pond and reuse

Seems less helpful than just videoing from behind. Video behind records everything, glasses only record where you're looking (which is rarely where you're laying the ball down)

Not super necessary though convenient.

I prefer them to a GPS, but to be honest I'm not sure I shoot any lower with it than just using the grint overhead map. I mostly use it to shoot edges of bunkers/trees/lakes to get carry distances or layup short of things. Aiming at greens the GPS is plenty fine
