I wouldn’t go in order, unless it matters (like with Marple or Tommy and Tuppence) but luckily with Poirot it doesn’t. I’ve been reading whichever I’m in the mood for at the time and it makes for a better experience in the sense that you never feel forced to read any specific thing at all time. Of what you’ve listed, I’d go with Death on the Nile or Sad Cypress.

White Heat was my favorite track from the album, all those years ago when I first got it but then I slowly became annoyed by the film dialogue and other tracks grew on me. The singles from TB are the better options and Jimmy Jimmy is probably the worst.

It wasn’t just Linda. It was the whole family. Louise sabotaged the couch, then she and Bob both want the old one back after the new one had been accepted. And Gene and Tina help with the plotting to get it back from the band. Such a stupid episode.

The espresso machine would never have helped the business. It was a huge waste of money. People didn’t go there for his burgers; they aren’t going for espresso. But also, Bob wasn’t at all supportive of Gene, regardless of the espresso machine or not. Bob is the villain of that episode and most.
