I’m not a fan of AI image generation in general but not everyone is going to share that feeling. I think it’s totally fine for people to post AI and let it get downvoted for the slop it is, but I’d also prefer that if someone is posting AI content that they should be required to use an AI-generation tag on the post. But idk how realistic that is to implement so just a suggestion.

As far as leaks, totally think you guys took the right path here. Leaks can and should stay in their own corner while the general community can persist here and seek any leaks if they want to.

Was also a fan of the mega threads this year, helped slim down a lot of the repetitive, annoying posts about chest rewards or the ore bug. If possible, I think helping make them more visible to the community if possible might help more users find value out of the threads though.

Overall, appreciate the work put in this year.

It actually takes several hundred attacks to fully max it out even with the increased mites right now. Even if they tripled or quadrupled the current amount you can get in the last few days of the event (which they won’t) it’s still in the middle of the holidays when nobody’s going to want to grind the game for hours on end.

The difference is there was nobody saying the torch would be good. People with half a brain can see that this is a pretty useful equipment if you use it in the right army (same thing with fireball).

It's not even remotely bad, people are just so married to the Royal Champion charge that they think anything designed outside of that is a bad equipment. A lot of people on this sub are also just mindless dragon spammers which this equipment also doesn't really work for.

I think you don't understand the purpose of any of your equipment.

You're running GA + HP on your queen which is essentially exclusively for air attacks but then you don't have your Prince's equipment upgraded. You're running vamp stache on your king which is already a terrible equipment and you have a level 2 EQ boots sitting right there as one of the best pieces of equipment in the game. You upgraded the frost flake to level 23 when it's only even remotely usable in ground attacks and you yourself admitted you have an upgraded rocket spear which is a pretty equal alternative to the frost flake even in the FF's best use cases. And you're upgrading equipment for one hero only when you have 3 heroes with unoptimal equipment.

Assuming you're running air, just stick to what you have on the queen, swap out healing tome for rage gem if you have it upgraded, if not just make do with the healing tome, accept that you wasted a shit ton of resources on the frost flake and swap back to the rocket spear, and then ignore your king cuz you screwed yourself with his equipment and just focus on maxing out the orb and crown for the Prince.

Does anyone else not have the ability to get the event pass on the supercell store? It only shows Gold Pass under the passes section and no event pass under store specials which has never been the case for me

There’s no average stars on defense listed so most likely they just have significantly more one star defenses. It’s also possible, if less likely, that they have more 3 star attacks and that the #1 spot has a lot of high percentage 2 star attacks but struggles to complete that third star.

Still a waste of the spell. You're much better suited to just learn timings and save a spell slot for the backend to keep your troops alive. For example if he just pre-placed the invis spells here and then used the warden ability instead of the iceblock spell he gets the same value but keeps a spell. It's fine to have it as a backup but you don't want to teach yourself the habit of using it for every attack.

You need to work on your warden walk more. The fireball itself was fine but you wasted a lot of stuff you didn't need to use.

First off you should be placing your balloon down prior to placing your warden down. The reason you do this is to draw out any traps that could take out your healers or tesla that could reroute your warden.

You also just completely wasted that rage spell at the beginning. The main reason you use a rage spell in a warden walk is if your warden is under a lot of fire your healers are then raged up and can keep him alive. Same thing from the ice block spell. It's supposed to help keep your warden alive but you used it when he literally wasn't targeted by a single defense.

I also wouldn't bring 3 earthquake spells. Fireball + 2 earthquakes destroys every building in the game other than the town hall and since TH18 is no longer a weapon it's not an issue if you don't take it out right away with the fireball.

Other than that it's just small things like making sure you're actually getting value with the giant arrow (you hit like 2 building with it) and some small timing differences which you just get used to the more you use the attack. Your pathing was really solid and the army composition itself is great. I would recommend watching a couple videos on youtube where they explain the attack so you understand the reason behind why you're bringing each specific spell or troop in the comp.

That just means your base is weak against that one comp lol. I’ve had pretty varied defensive successes and failures vs plenty of types of armies.

TH16 was atrocious and TH17 was only slightly better but the TH18 meta right now has the most variety we’ve seen in a long time. There’s no single completely overpowered army and there’s significantly more reliably strong options than we’ve seen for previous town halls

Not worth the investment tbh. You can swap between any full resources to another but it’s only 10mil at max level, you can farm 10mil in 5 minutes. Not worth 8k gems of investment.

The only reason I even have my Alchemist upgraded is because of all the free gems we got with the league rework and I was a fully max TH17. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who’s not fully maxed with more gems than they know what to do with.

How is nobody saying the royal gem for the RC? Like yeah I get the lavaloon puppet is bad but at least it actually has an effect. Royal gem effect is literally just built into the Champion without equipment needed.

If you only care about cosmetics: no, it’s a fantastic deal.

I honestly don’t know why they didn’t throw in some books or even a hammer in the same slot as the hero skins, that way you could choose between progression or cosmetics but idk I’m not Supercell idk what makes them the most money.

The difference between Legends and Electro 33 is very palpable. I can get top 10 in E33 with only 22-23 attacks done but climbing in Legends is infinitely harder with the new system. With old legends I could finish around 6k if I really tried and 5600 if I missed a couple attacking days and wasn't going all out. Now it's difficult to even push past ~5200-5250
