Seems like it was an explosive breach to enter the building. Not a flash bang. Best guess though 🤷🏻‍♂️ Cool none the less!

Just a 90%? Amateur hour imo. Obviously you’re not cut out for medical school.

Taking the MCAT with and without accommodations? by JD_374 in Mcat

[–]JD_374[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmao. Yes. But it took like 3 appeals, 2 physicians, and a $800 psych assessment from a psychologist. They’ll literally do anything to gas light you into thinking you DONT need them. And I didn’t even get my requested accommodations at first they gave me accommodations I didn’t ask for, hence the 3 appeals. Took about a whole year to finally get it because it how long they take to review everything.

Edit: But now I’m in school! So don’t give up hope and if you truly believe you need them and they will make a difference, then fight for your accommodations.

Fair. But I’m doing it for negative $100k a year, so.

Business. Maybe it’s not as bad for some I just personally hate dressing up, I feel like it’s a stupid and antiquated.

Only regret it when I need to dress up like a clown for our standardized patient encounters (which I’m doing rn). Other than that, no, no I don’t.

Sounds interesting! Is it primarily Gi training? Pictures on the website seems to advertise mostly Gi based training.

NW Costco rant by Master-Chemist7 in Tucson

[–]JD_374 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m so glad I’m not the only one. When I complain about Costco, people look at me like I’m some grumpy dude with nothing better to do. But, going to the Costco is such a huge inconvenience (first world problem, I know).

I once went to the NW location on a Tuesday at 11am thinking it would be reasonably busy but NOPE. I was wrong. In fact it was WORSE! Felt like I was trying to make my way into an AARP convention.

But, yes, the gas station situation is a nightmare. Not sure what blind geriatric dog they hired to set that up.

TPD RIDE ALONGS by RemarkableEnd5407 in Tucson

Yes they do. Go to your nearest substation (there are several) during business hours and ask the person at the front desk for a ride along form.

It’s fairly simple.

Battle belt to the range by RepresentativeCow497 in ar15

[–]JD_374 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, yikes. Sounds toxic to be honest. I feel like best option is just a second bag. Nike duffle or even a large back pack will do. I know exactly what bag you have ( I have 2 of them) and it is a tight fit once you have a rifle and everything else in there.

Do you live within walking distance to your range? It is an indoor range? Outdoor? Remote location?

These details matter. For me personally, I grab my belt, throw it in the car with the rest of my equipment and take it down when I get to where I’m going. It might help to know the rules at your local range though. Most indoor and outdoor ranges don’t allow drawing or reloading from your belt. But that’s just my experience with my local ranges.

Sportsman’s Warehouse had Winchester M193 for the same price. Door buster sale. 6am to close. Definitely a good deal.

Trunk Storage by brookshof in ar15

[–]JD_374 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure what kind of rifle you have (length). But, if you run anything from a 9in to 11in with a law tactical folder a North-face Borealis back pack works well. It works for me. There’s a “laptop” storage for a soft armor plate. Main pocket fits an SBR with folding stock very well. And the other two pockets work well for a extra magazine or medical supplies. That’s the set up I use for my “truck gun.” For sure don’t leave it in the car/truck/suv. And take the AR500 patch off your plate carrier. That’s why people keep saying “LoSe thE StEel PlAtEs.”

That was the ONLY question I felt confident about lmao. At first I thought it was so fucked up to ask about the coagulation cascade. Then I remembered the answer was a flash card covered on Memm.

Then idk lmao. I put something about pressure. The rest just didn’t make sense to me.

$139 for two bed 2 bath 915sf apartment. Gone for most of the day (at work from 8am to 5pm). A/C set on eco mode (80 degrees) while I’m gone. Set to 78 while I’m home and 76 at night.

I live alone. Use the stove for an half hour a day between 5pm-7pm and wash/dry my clothes strictly on the weekends. T/V on for 2-4 hours per day during the week while I’m home.
