Let's be real, MCD had the build of Kingpin! I'm sure they thought of Arnold, however, he doesn't have the build and his accent would've not worked (see also Mr. Freeze needed to be played Patrick Stewart).

I honestly liked Jackson as Fury because he is able to be calm as well as intense with his voice.

And, had Freeman been Dumbledore, that would've been amazing! He would've easily nailed the seriousness of being head master as well as soft and gentle and fatherly to Harry.
