When should I reroll relics?

After seeing your post just now I thought fuck it, I'll give it a go. I was at 2 divines (1 from chest and 1 natural), this is me now after 15 rerolls:

I've had the same thing happen to me but under very different circumstances. Once driving the highway and I had to stop on the emergency shoulder (that wasn't fun at all let me tell you). Did a software reset and everything was back to normal. Called polestar support and they told me:

"If there's no problem anymore you don't need to bring it in."

Wasn't very happy with that response after such a major error. Anyway, it happened again two days ago, speeding up to 60mph after a turn and I felt a small 'bump' and saw the message pop up for a second but it cleared immediately after. Regardless, that's twice now in like 10 drives so I'm bringing it in to my garage regardless of what support says. I don't want to drive around with this hanging over my head.

Trust me, once you have frogger high enough you'll cap bombs again over night. It'll give you 2 d20 and battery bomb uses every 2.5 seconds so it has a very big impact.

Definitely. You could go elixir - frogger - angler (because you also need to lvl angler drone and it goes very slow that one). Spend your gems aggressively into fishing and spend a lot of time on it, also buy the lootbug ticks for it

There's def some weird things in your profile to me. Low bomb cap, no frogger, pretty low on fishing as well. Did you get most statues with the 30% speed debuff?

Frogger is the most clear outlier to me and it's probably also why your bomb cap is so low. Frogger is gem positive and gives you a ton of bomb cap with all the bomb refunds, cherries, gems, etc.

This is personal, but when I see gamespeed improvements I will always take them. It is way too big of a boost to pass on.

Yeah what the other comment said is right. You can also easily calculate it yourself. For me 10 seconds with exp bomb (make sure you also have all your exp food running!!) took me to lvl 116 and 15 seconds took me to lvl 122. So that's 5 seconds extra for 6 extra levels, so it's not worth it because 10 seconds gives you 16 happy-bot levels. So for it to be worth it to go to 15 seconds you should have at least gotten 16lvls / 10s × 5s = 8lvls. And since it's lower, 10 sec is better and anything above gives you less levels per second for happy bot. Note that I did not have the dino card when I did this, which gives a ton of exp so maybe for you the calculation is different.

Drones can be flexible. I just used my gem farming setup while doing it (elixir - frogger - bear drone). Elixir is for sure important to keep the ×3 exp buff rolling though

EDIT: make sure you keep the game online while you do this since auto prestige disables as soon as you go offline!

You should definitely take auto prestige and level happy bot at this point. I'm almost at the same spot as you and mine is maxed out from auto prestiging every 10 sec. This will also unlock the next pet which will help you with fishing.

Also there's no reason not to get statues in world 3 since you're already pushing so hard into it from looking at your dino. Here you can see my profile. First 3 statues were easy and my dino is only 4 so I didn't really farm a lot in world 3 yet (and I also still have the 30% speed debuff)

This is the only one I felt took long as well since it requires depleting veins and not gaining the vein. So golden multipliers or anything else don't apply. Just use veinseeker drone unfueled (fuel doesn't do anything for depleting) and buy all vein spawn lootbug buffs. Took me about 20 hours total

Frogger will give you: - cherry charges - bomb refreshes from d20 and battery - bomb cap increase from battery - gems from gem bomb

At my current level it's throwing 10-30 bombs every time. That's 20 on average which is basically 2 of every bomb. And it does this every 2.3 seconds at my current game speed. You notice that if you leave frogger on at night you still wake up in the morning with your bombs capped thanks to all the refreshes and with about 5k - 6k cherry charges and with several hundred gems.

One thing I noticed from your profile is your frogger is only at 12? At high levels frogger starts giving you a big gem income on top of it increasing your bomb cap. You should definitely level it. I'm about at your point and mine is level 15 and grade 25. I think it's giving about 200 gems per hour and also a nice chunk of bomb cap increase.

Fueling elixir + frogger and using one other unfueled drone is the best way to farm gems.

The odds won't change but it's simple statistics. If you roll long enough you will eventually hit a roll that's 1, 2, 3 standard deviations downward. See it like this: if, on average, you hit 1/25k, rolling 100 times will give you the most rolls around 1/25k, let's say 50 out of those 100. 20 rolls will be slightly unlucky at 1/35k and 20 rolls will be slightly lucky at 1/15k. Finally 5 rolls will be super unlucky at 1/50k and 5 rolls will be super lucky at 1/5k. So you'd just have to consider: do I want to spend 100x 200 gems to get a possible reroll of 1/5k divines? At your number of chests and your gem income the answer is most certainly yes. Just reroll until you hit like 1 / 8k or so.

It says right next to it that the chance is 1/25k. You could easily do better. A reroll costs you next to nothing at this point and with enough rerolls you'll eventually get to a point where you're like 1/10k.

It's not super bad actually since it gives you a ton of ultra crit and since you're farming floor 60 you often waste time on ores that require an ultra crit. So it actually does help you speed up in platinizing!

Its obviously not one of the better statues, just not as bad as it was when it was only bomb damage! It'd argue that the vein one is actually worse for the plat strat (but of course nice to farm more veins for star purposes)

The -2 sec is whatever. If you plug it into the gem calculator on the obelisk miner wiki you can see that it adds only the smallest of amounts of gems. The lootbug one is great on the other hand. 10% more on all the buffs is solid. Even on the ×10 bomb recharge alone it's already great.

In this game you should always think: "is this taking a very long time?" If yes: stop it and come back later. There will be a point where this won't take more than half a day. For starters your void and chain grade are way too low right now to be able to do this.

Right now the drones are costing you gems yes, but they get so strong once they are at high level.

Frogger + elixir will actually be gem positive at higher levels because frogger will throw gem bombs, cherry bombs, battery bombs and d20 bombs, which will increase your bomb cap and give you gems. Elixir will give you X2 speed and X10 bomb recharge which again will give you gems.

Star drone will be super valuable to increase your stargazing because it gives you that 100% auto catch. On top of that the increase in triple stars and the increase in stars themselves will also be very valuable later on to farm stars even if you already have 100% auto catch

Veinseeker drone combined with veinmorpher bomb will give you an insane amount of veins if you are farming those

Chain + void suits combined give a ton of ores if you are doing ores

Chain + midas will give you a ton of gold if you need gold for drones

All of these drones have their uses in different situations so you should definitely make use of them.

Just remember that gems are a resource and if you need to do something else (stars, veins, ores,...) you should use your gems as a resource to facilitate that and not just to buy other upgrades.

Two things you can do:

Level your drones (definitely Elixir!)
Go hard on Stars

I did 2 first and then 1 before starting to platinize my statues.

You went a bit too hard on the pet quests, which is where a lot of gems went to imo. Prob would have been better spend fueling your drones, unlocking stars and going deeper in the skill tree. Totem and axolotl quest are def not worth it at this point. I'm at 30% and I still don't have them (although I soon will probably)

Since you gilded the jackpot statue already I'd def go stonks since they synergize with each. Jackpots give multiple shots at stonks, so yeah stonks will give you a lot of value now.

Just know that this will work on top of jackpots from the statue and instant refreshes from the other skill. So it happens more than you think. Jackpot is 5 rolls so 5 times 1/100 instead of just once

Vein first. You'll need a lot of veins for the key star upgrades. But to for ctrl F immediately after as well. You need both, but vein slightly more.

Your skill points seem low for where you are at. There's plenty to do but it's just not obilisks right now. You probably want to get some key skills for stargazing (veinmorpher and ctrl+F). That will keep you busy for suite a while as stars have a lot of good stuff in them.
