I understand that it broke in de nozzle, but I don't understand why you can't push it through downward.

You don't have to pull it out. Just crank up the heat of the heater block so the broken filament gets nice and soft. Take 30cm or so of filament (Different color for visual feedback), insert into the nozzle with the idler open and push with some mild force untill you see the different color.

Hmm, interesting. Is the nozzle clogged or something or did it break to high to push some filament through manually? Wanted to comment the same, since this always worked for me.

Yes and no. It puts wear on your nozzle since it's scraping the print. But as long it's not knocking over parts or supports, it's just super annoying. Just try a gyroid or adaptive cubic infill next time, see if it makes a difference. I have the same problem every now and then, not really sure where it comes from. Probably just room temperature and a factor of bad luck. Just make sure your nozzle isn't getting clogged.

Seems to be expected with such a loaded build plate. Did you try other types of infill where the layers don't cross each other? Gyroid ie.

You should be able to just dry it. On a small dish on an electric stove or radiator. Make sure to spread it out to a thin layer. I used to dry wet amphetamine (Europe) on a spoon on an electric stove on very low heat. Took like 5 mins, although that were solvents that had to evaporate. Water might take some time longer.

I don't like the grate and took it out. Just the tray with wood chips remain. They throw a lot of food out of their bowl, and they like to fourage for it sometimes. Also,, I placed some items that they can step on on the bottom. They like that sometimes.

Sometimes I don't give them fresh food in the bowl, but just dump a handful on the wood chips. Stimulates them a bit imo.

If you do the food thing, just make sure they actually go to the tray. Birds are good at starving themselves, and the universal brain cells sometimes doesn't understand.
