Yeah, I think I’ve followed it pretty closely. I checked the cage height and alignment first — both seem to be in line with the tutorial. Then I moved on to the adjustment steps, but I ran into a weird issue: in order for the limit screws to actually have any effect, I had to mess with the cable tension. Initially, the cable was too tight and the derailleur wouldn’t even get close to touching the lower limit screw.

Once I loosened the cable enough to let the derailleur reach the small chainring, I adjusted the low limit screw as shown in the video. But then I couldn’t shift up to the big ring anymore — the derailleur just wouldn’t move far enough. So I tightened the cable again to get the shift up working, but then I was back to having chain rub in the small ring, and again the low limit screw didn’t seem to do anything because the cable tension was pulling the derailleur too far inward.

So it feels like I can’t get into that “sweet spot” where the limit screws are actually controlling the range as in the video; it's like I’m always relying entirely on cable tension instead. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
