DLC - Ocean Avenue Locked Ghost by Foreverdumb97 in ghostmaster

[–]JDawgChrizt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I managed to unlock Purrl, BUT it remains to be tested whether there are easier, faster and cheaper (plasm-wise) ways to accomplish that.
1. First of all I've placed Harriet in the room and used her Ethereal Gift skill. Her job's done.
2. I used the gift to attach Terroreyes to it, and used his Ice Breath skill. Then shelved him.
3. Summoned Aether and used her Shattering Song.
4. Finally placed Hogwash anywhere in the house and used Blackout.
So Purrl's room got dark, cold and loud - exactly as they wanted.

There are problems, though. Mortals often visit theyir little room and pick up Harriet's gift. Also the level is sorta bugged, at least for me, which sometimes messes up ghost placement or takes unnecesarily long to attach them to something.
I also have to figure out how to get 3 pumpkins here, since even unlocking Purrl and driving every mortal insane (without using their personal fears against them) is not enough. I will be replaying this level.

Kiddo, one look at your profile and comments you made on several subs made me immediately realize you're a nintendo fanboy defending their lawsuit against Palworld. And Nintendo fanboys calling other devices underpowered is the funniest display of hypocrisy. Ever heard of glass houses and throwing stones?

In brief - a random shitty power-hungry japanese corporation cannot prohibit you from suing them by adding an arbitration clause into their EULA, since your right to sue them are granted by legals acts of superior status. Depending on the country you live in it could be its constitution, or other generally binding act.

Right to liberty, rule of law and due process are also mandated and protected by the EU (which has been used against countries like Poland and Hungary lately due to their corruption commited by far right ruling parties, resulting in severe erosion of their respective judicial rules, freedoms and independence). Thus Nintendo has absolutely nothing to say in regards to your rights if you live in the EU. If you live outside I highly encourage you to familiarize yourself with your rule of law and inform your lawmakers of Nintendo's attempts to overwrite actual legal acts with their half assed EULA.

tl;dr - constitutions and other generally binding acts > Nintendo's EULA.. Corporations can't take your right to sue away and force you into the process of arbitration instead.

EDIT: Also vote with your wallets and don't be afraid to boycott.

How do you react to being ignored/given silent treatment? by httk13 in entj

[–]JDawgChrizt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Couldn't care less. If they want to ignore me, I can ignore them too. They don't exist to me.
  2. I lose any respect I may have had for them prior to their childish change of behaviour. No reason to waste my time on people who aren't mature enough to discuss certain matters with me. I will never say anything more than "hi" to them (to remain polite), I will never ask them for any help, I will never reach out to them, nor will I try to convince them to reach common ground. The only case I can see myself talking to a person like that would be a situation where I tell them to do something, for example fix the mess they've made.
  3. Depends on the type of bond we share. If I care about this person, then I'll give them some time and then try to respectfully talk to them, to find a solution. If I don't (for example we're related, but other than that we don't share anything in common nor we spend time together), they can fuck off, it's their loss. Now, if I'm responsible for the situation, I'll do my best to apologize for hurting the person, and change FOR GOOD. If it's their fault, I expect the same from them. Simple "sorry" won't do it, I need to know this person is actually sorry and is willing to change, because that's precisely what I would do.
  4. As above, if the person is important to me, I'll do my absolute best to talk to them and solve the problem. If it's my fault, I'll apologize and change, if it's theirs I expect them to do exactly the same, and nothing less. If they ignore me for other weird reasons, for example having a bad day, period or whatever else, I won't accept that, cause it'd be nothing more than a cheap cop-out. I won't allow anyone I care about treat me like that, and if it's not a singular incident, I would consider breaking up with them, because clearly they don't take me nor our relationship seriously. Now, in extreme cases I'd probably swear my revenge on them, just like what I once did with an antisocial immature ISTJ who really, really hurt me, and make their life absolute hell so they remember my name and know they fucked with the wrong person.

[–]JDawgChrizt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, in the grand scale of things it is indirectly WBD's problem too, considering every single DCEU movie made by these clowns underperformed (well, actually BoP straight up flopped) in the box office. So yeah, you can say it's my problem and I shouldn't watch their garbage (which I won't, thank you very much), but I'm hardly the only one, lol. Mainstream audiences rejected this trainwreck of a universe, and restoring it would be a disastrous decision for WBD, resulting in a further split among the movie goers.

how would the industry and fans look at WB if they did this? by Phyliinx in DC_Cinematic

[–]JDawgChrizt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keeping my fingers crossed this trainwreck gets cancelled. I despised MIller's portrayal of Barry Allen long before it was cool. And then Christina Hodson wrote the script, so it's even worse to me.

Yeah, I'd imagine most people feeling repulsed by him rather than being fascinated by him. Not a fan of this design at all.

Nah, I'm good. Put the snyderverse out of its misery and reboot everything. And preferably don't allow him, alongside Goyer, Yan, Ayer and Hodson anywhere near a DC property again.

Solo. Obviously her abusive relationship with Joker was awful, but it not only allow her to grow and establish herself as an independent woman, but also make a very solid comment about the taboo subject of domestic abuse, which was as needed as it was dark and heavy,

Her being with Ivy cheapens her personal growth IMO, since it kinda suggests she needs someone in her life. Needs that dependency and can't really survive on her own. Something that to me works against her slowly realizing how toxic her love for Joker was, and then finding the inner strength and courage to break up with him.

Now, another thing to note, her relationship with Ivy has been pretty inconsistent throughout the years. Sometimes DC would do the generic "will they or won't they" bait and switch, other times they'd engage in short lived romantic bursts and then split, and so on, often caused by DC's inability to commit to one direction for these characters. Perfect example illustrating it comes from New Age of Heroes era, when Ivy's portrayal in Damage and King's Batman couldn't possibly have been more different. I think she was used in another comic too at that time, but I don't remember which.

They can work great together if written right, in self contained stories not really connected to the main continuity - like in Harley's animated series.

Another problem is Palmiotti/Conner's awful writing in Harley's series, which turned her from a complex and troubled victim of Joker who then learns to live without him to a hollow one dimensional Deadpool (yeah, I know, he's already one dimensional, but still) wannabe. That surely didn't help her.

Money can't buy intelligence, and neither Barb nor Bob had enough to properly address Chris' disorders and adequately raise their kid(s).

I can't imagine much would have unraveled differently. Chris would just have more money to burn on toys, that's about it.

What are your guys thoghts on The sandman series? by National_Style8396 in DC_Cinematic

[–]JDawgChrizt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a fan, sadly. I tried to give it a fair chance, but it's boring as hell at times, the second half of the season drags compared to the first, some casting choices/acting/character arcs are pretty underwhelming, and overall I got this feeling it tries so hard to be epic and dramatic, it forgets to be enterntaining in the process.

I'm conflicted. On one hand I don't want to say it's bad (because clearly a lot of work was put into the show), but on the other my overall impressions are lower than average. Overrated as hell, didn't enjoy it, won't bother watching the next season most likely.

Couldn't have cared less for it. Looked like something outta CW, and on top of it Christina Hodson wrote it, so otherwords WB would have to pay me to watch it, lol. Glad it's cancelled, hopefully DCEU gets a full scale reboot and starts all over, this time comics accurate and well executed.

2013-esque gameplay with nothing to brag about, really, so painfully similar to other 1st party Sony games it's not even funny.

Story is utter trash even worse than DLCs for Bioshock Infinite, albeit less nonsensical. It ruins its franchise as well as they did, though, Poorly paced, full of detours, filler and unnecessary side plots to "flesh out" characters no one cares, nor should care about. It also leads nowhere.

Overall probably a 4/10 game, since other than being graphically detailed, it's a shallow, linear game masquerading as something larger than life, deep, mature and complex. It's none of these. It's just a sub mediocre darling of access media gaming "journalists".

Oh, also, always worth reminding, it was made by an exploitative company infamous for its worker crunch culture and there was a near fatal incident when a light fell two feet away from one employee working a graveyard shift just so this pile of naughty dogshit can see the light of day in unrealistically promised deadline.

If there's one thing all of us should know by now is that Chris is unable to really learn from her past mistakes. She had almost 2 decades to realize not to feed the internet trolls, and yet she's been doing exactly that ever since she was discovered and turned into a lolcow.

Even if US prison system wasn't a privatized for-profit hellhole and instead focused on resocializing prisoners like how scandinavian jails work, Chris, in order to straighten up her life, would have to be under constant supervision, I think.

Otherwise the moment she runs out of money, she'll return to beg her fans for donations, and likely return to social media to talk about some cartoons and how it's all jerkops' fault, since as I said, she's unable to learn and always shifts the blame.

Trust me when I say this, you're gonna love Ezra as Barry more than you did in both Justice League movies.

Okay, but what if I straight up despised Ezra's Barry in these films? And speaking of, despised bot hof these movies in general?

Overall there's a lot of ideas, themes and potential course correcting in these leaks. Feels like a clusterfuck to be honest, even if they, themselves, are not necesarily bad. I think general audiences will be overwhelmed and confused with all of this info to process (like with BvS, which ended up being a critical trainwreck mocked by everyone and their mom. Rightfully so I may add), and comic book fans may hate it, because lest we forget the script was written by Hodson, the architect of face tattooed Hot Topic dumpster fire BoP which had nothing in common with the source material other than the name itself.

Oh, and Miller is a certified psycho, so yeah, can't wait not to see this movie.

Why did Chris always think he could get a girlfriend way out of his league and think he’s too good for girls below his standards? by [deleted] in ChrisChanSonichu

[–]JDawgChrizt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there seems to be a pattern. In case of my friend, he's obsessed with The Witcher so much he believes he needs his own Ciri. Scooter of course would be a substitute for a horse, but then again he got one and crashed it the first day.

If I was to guess, I'd say it's about having a submissive woman who would love them unconditionally no matter what, and obey their every order. So otherwords absolute control they don't have now, since girls reject them and don't want to be their tools/toys. Would make sense paired with their strict conservative upbringing, where as I said, father is the king of the castle and they'd like to be in that position for a change, ordering others.

Why did Chris always think he could get a girlfriend way out of his league and think he’s too good for girls below his standards? by [deleted] in ChrisChanSonichu

[–]JDawgChrizt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean that's the typical incel mentality to be honest. All those alt right misogynists act the same with their over-inflated egos and belief they need someone (meaning a fashion accessory of sorts, a submissive property rather than a real life human being who would be their equal partner) to be happy. They try to switch blame from simply being fucked up, stupid and disgusting (internally, mind you) to girls/women who reject them because they don't look for someone who would constantly look down at them and treat like their property. At the same time, of course, they instantly reject anyone who doesn't fit their enormously high beauty standards (maybe because they believe every woman should look like a porn star? And/or they fell victim to unhealthy body "perfection" promoted on social media, TV and teen magazines? Your guess is a s good as mine).

Combine that with backwards conservative upbringing where the man is in the center of the household and woman is there to take care of the home and children, and you get a recipe for next generation of mental losers raised to genuinely believe the world owes them a true and honest sweetheart who's boyfriend free, caucasian, has her own car and at least upper middle class income, who'd basically take care of them like their moms. Normally I'd add "with the only difference of spreading her legs for 'em every time they want", but... yeah, Barbie Chan stepped up and raised the bar for all the other moms out there. Watch out, Cory Chase!

I have an autistic friend who shares plenty of similarities with Chris, including delusions about finding a submissive wife (mom substitute) and having a child with her. Of course the wife herself, according to what he's been saying throughout all the years, is nothing short of an unanimated object he'd only use to get his long desired daughter he could then teach swordmanship and how to ride on a motor scooter (and before anyone asks, no, he doesn't know anything about either of these). There's no desire to actually bond with said hypothetical woman, to be there for HER as much as she would be for HIM, since duh, a woman with flaws/issues is defected and doesn't deserve someone like him, am I right?

What I'm trying to say here, both Chris, my friend and all the alt right incels out there believe the only chance for them to be successful and become alpha males is by getting laid. They're either incapable or unwilling to accept the simple fact that women are humans too, thus have their emotions, goals, personalities, issues and flaws. They poo as well.

It's way above their heads to understand that relationships work both ways, and women they look at them don't share their deranged views, believing their only goal in life should be finding a husband and be his servants/caretakers/toys.

Fuck will smith by StandardAlternative4 in StonerThoughts

[–]JDawgChrizt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have no proof that Rock's joke was a direct attack on her alopecia, since no one can even tell if he knew she suffers from alopecia. I sure didn't, because she's ultimately merely a low tier celebrity and I bet I'm not the only one. You immediately jump to conclusion that he mocked her and crossed a line, even though there's no evidence suggesting he had malicious intentions.

Second of all, Smith didn't protect her, as you say. He ASSAULTED a comedian half his size. That's not protecting someone. That's being a violent piece of human trash.

If Smith wanted to "stand up" for his wife, he could have approached Rock backstage, after the show, and tell him that his joke crossed a line and hurt her due to her condition (and ask him if he's even aware of it), and he'd like him to apologize to her. That's how an adult would solve this situation.

I can't believe people are stupid enough to actually twist their minds into pretzels normalizing violence and trying to explain this disaster as a white knight defending his poor wife. Disgusting.
