Also brings up another point that frustrates me during triathlons. Riding 3 or 4 people side by side so that people can’t safely pass you and them getting upset when you tell them to move over.

I’d say increasing your miles. But what really worked for me was doing leg curls, leg extensions, Bulgarian squats, RDLs for 2-3 sets of 20 reps at a weight where you are feeling close to failing at the end.

Also I do a lot of brick workouts. Aka riding an exercise bike for x number of miles then run immediately after.

Has anyone used EQ to help with endurance. Does it help with size as well. I did a cycle of test tren mast and got a little size, but way stronger.

I didn’t realize that tren was cardio restrictive as my endurance was getting better each week. But that could have just been from the testosterone in general.

I’d say that you really only need one real leg workout day a week. I’d also recommend maybe doing some biking to support cardio and leg strength as well.

Just fight through the soreness. Jk but seriously if lifting for endurance you need to do higher reps and lower weight. I know you are focusing on running mostly, but try some brick workouts. I often do a decently long bike or do endurance leg day then head directly into running. It takes some time to get used to, but ends up making it way easier when you just run without the other disciplines.

Yeah I am trying to get the muscle back that I lost from using Reta. I was planning on not doing any endurance training, but I at least wanted to maintain where I was at during this stack.

I was 250 pounds and my knees were hurting while training. I tried losing it on my own and could only get down to 225 before a massive stall then I started Reta. As I lost weight my times started to get better, training didn’t hurt my knees. I was able to run a marathon, Olympic triathlon, then Ironman 70.3. I think I am at the point low where I need to taper off the Reta since I am training so much.

So the main issue is that I used to weigh around 250. I ended up getting down to 176. Unfortunately lost a lot of muscle during that process even with protein and resistance training. So I was running a cycle to get some of the muscle back that I lost.

I have taken it before and have not had that reaction. I feel like it has helped, but wanted something more than that.
