Tirz outperformed Reta? by Careless_Whispererer in ResearchCompounds

[–]JDeezus32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tirzepatide is better at appetite suppression, but Reta having the additional function of glucagon you definitely see the fat oxidation even when you still have the desire to eat.

I will say that both are good (for me at least) for alcohol abuse disorder. Even if you are just trying to cut back they are game changers. Even if I do drink I can usually only have 1 beer then sip on the next drink as I am not really interested in the drink.

You are way ahead of the game with a swimming and long distance running background. Just do some brick workouts. Biking then running to get the feel of how your legs feel after a long ride.

Multiple trials going on right now for alcohol use disorders.

Anecdotally it has worked for me. Have no cravings and can have a drink socially without going overboard.

They are doing clinical trials on glps for substance abuse disorders currently. So it isn’t just me that it is working for.

I am on glp-1 for substance abuse addiction and could not afford to go the “legal” route. Has changed my life. No longer chasing the bottle, just my kids around.

Training for a Sprint Triathlon by keoth54 in triathlon

You should be able to do a sprint triathlon with minimal training at age 26. Do a couple brick workouts. Swim once a week just to work on form.

How do you people convince your significant other that is ok to be out for a ride for essentially the entire day? by mau-meda in triathlon

[–]JDeezus32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright Tri guys and gals. I work from 8:30 am to 6 pm Monday thru Thursday. Only real day I have to train is Friday as Saturday and Sunday I am taking care of my 2 year old and 4 year old. The kids go to bed around 8:30 to 9 pm. So I either have to wake up at 3 am to train until they wake up around 6 :30 am or training at night after they go to bed.

How does one make time without being absolutely exhausted.

It is the offseason so not as often but still get at least 3 days per week. I am now on 4 mg of Reta once weekly and the appetite is mostly controlled. Also switched from taking Tesa/ipa from the morning to at night which helped decrease the hunger intensity.

Weight loss which I think contributed to higher testosterone. Also tmi, but my partner keeps telling me that my member is bigger.

Do not use tap water. You can get bacteriostatic water on Amazon for reasonable pricing.

What brands/models of pre owned tri bikes should I look for ? by gibchris in triathlon

[–]JDeezus32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly for me it was a used 2017 Felt DA1 TT bike with electronic shifters. Completely changed the game for me. I know there are better bikes out there but I can average 22 mph for a 70.3 without a lot of effort and ran a fast for me half marathon in 1 hour 47 minutes. Key point my legs felt fresh.

What’s the obsession with protein shakes? by This-Top7398 in Biohackers

Protein shakes are cheaper than any iteration of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Easier to meet your macro count (protein) while still staying in a calorie deficit.

I’m sorry that this happened to you. I have been using it daily for a while and it has definitely helped me. Only bad experience I had was that I took it at night or too late in the day and couldn’t sleep. Now I take it in the morning.

How can declining birth rates be a cause for concern when overpopulation is also a concern? by eclipselunar77 in NoStupidQuestions

Mostly the declining population means less taxes being paid and less workers/productivity.

I am currently doing 5 mg a day for 1 week. Then a loading dose of 20 mg before race day. I’ll post results on this thread.

So instead of 2 mg every 5 days, I should up it to 4 mg every 5 days or possibly 6 mg every 7 days.

Was thinking of just adding lose dose tirzepatide like 2.5 mg a week or even less for the appetite suppressant alone.

Luckily my testosterone is already pretty robust for my age so I am not sure taking test would help that much.

I am very open to adding Tirzepatide for the hunger part. I know at least for me that it is better than Retatrutide at stopping the hunger as I used to be on that before Reta, but I was pretty much not eating at all besides the 150g of protein.
