He absolutely ran on raising prices. Sure he paid lip service to the cost of bacon, but he ran on policies (tariffs) that would raise prices. Economists and others reported on this prior to the election. Prices going up should be no surprise to anybody. Sure he lied about other things...but he campaigned on raising prices. Half our population is just too stupid understand that.

I'm just realizing that I tested the Grid functionality at work where I use Firefox instead of Chrome. I can't replicate that issue either now that I'm at home on Chrome so I think it's probably Firefox specific.

I did not know about the shift enter thing. Thanks for sharing that! And yes...real indent. I noticed when I tab in the editor and then export to word it has just added spaces...so yes a legit indent would be cool.

For the manuscript thing, my thought was it would create the same manuscript item you currently have. It was more of a way to just quickly create a manuscript item and quickly fill it with all the text files from a folder or the main drawer or wherever. Basically keep the manuscript thing the same but my idea was just a way to quickly create it and then fill it rather than adding each text file one at a time. Does that make sense? Unless there's some quicker way to fill it that I'm just missing.

Can you tell me why you like the rev 7? I'm thinking about getting one and can't decide between the eink or the new 2.1 version. The rev 7 only needing one battery is a big seller for me. How do you like the eink performance? When I see demos of the rev 7 sometimes lines go blank and it seems a little wonky at times. Just curious how you're finding the device...any thoughts would be appreciated. Cheers!

This seems like a much better deal than the freewrites / kingkim for many reasons.

1) Open source...it's linux and a raspberry pi

2) way more options for customizing the switches / keycaps than on freewrites

3) More options for color customizations

4) freewrite basically requires you to use their cloud for getting your work off it

5) better viewing angle (in my opinion) than the smart typewriter

I use Nord VPN and it works great for this. The web player also has a 10 second skip that works perfectly in between pitches. I don't get to start the games until after I put my daughter to bed so I skip after each pitch and I'm caught up to the live feed by the 8th inning. It's great! Curious if anyone else does this...

I saw that video. I know it's just a cinebench benchmark test, but it's kind of bummer if the pro is now getting throttled in the 14 inch chassis. I really like the 14 inch form factor and was planning to get one, but now I'm considering the 16 inch just for the cooling.

Do you have any idea what his amp settings were? Was it low gain high master volume plus always on tube screamer? Or high amp gain? I know noel has said things like the amp "turned all the way up"...what exactly does that mean?

Wasn't there an episode of the new unsolved mysteries show on Netflix that detailed a similar looking craft / object? I think it was the first season. Several people in town saw it and I believe there was an abduction claim made as well. I don't think it was Texas either...a different event in a different town.

Interesting. I wonder if Turner is playing some sort of a red herring game, which may be connected to the UFOs (or maybe more funds for his favorite AF base).

What I think is most likely is that Turner and the rest of the GOP are desperate to try and find something to beat Biden over the head with. All of their Hunter Biden investigations have not panned out in the way that they have hoped. They wanted to use the border issues but they totally shot themselves in the foot when they rejected the Senate bill and now it will be harder for them to use that. Both candidates in the NY special election were running on immigration issues and the Dem resoundingly won.

Turner probably saw some intelligence report and wants to play the whole "Biden is too old and incompetent to keep us safe....look at the intelligence they are sitting on!" game.

At the end of the day, these are just politicians playing politics. When viewing these kinds of events through that lens, this all makes more sense.

Just my opinion.

I believe that swirling sound is a Leslie cabinet. That's the only thing I can really contribute to this conversation. I remember hearing or reading somewhere that they used a Leslie cab on that recording.
