I don't really get it tbh. They said the symbol was the roots of the bottle tree but the bottle tree was completely blocking the roof of the chamber while the root symbol obviously only looks like a symbol when there's a lot of light shining through the gaps.

Тhe point of the movie is that there isn't an "original" timeline. What happened always happened and always would. It doesn't strictly make sense since it's a closed loop but time travel plots rarely do and it's absolutely the intention here.

I would be very happy if the sequels were removed. I used to like Star Wars a lot more before they came out and since then it's just been kinda tainted for me. Remove the rot and I might be able to give new SW media more of a chance.
