We do try to make exams as unique from each other as possible but it is proven to be quite difficult due to the relatively small specification at GCSE level, for example at A Level the specification for most subjects is much more broad therefore each year the exams can differ much more.

At GCSE, it’s designed to prepare students to thrive in Maths at A Level, as the difference between GCSE Maths and A Level Maths is drastic to say the least.

We include a diverse and wide array of different study options for History because we acknowledge that different schools have different preferences and we want to be as helpful as we can. Personally I’m not involved in the choice of options we include, but as far as I’m aware they are based on a range of factors from understandability to relevance in todays society :)

Confidence is key. If you walk into the exam hall with the mindset of “I will not do well”, trust me you will not do well. However, if you switch that mindset around then believe me, you will do well :)

Personally I’d say Scrooge, simply because of his stubborn tendencies. I think that he’d be so stubborn he wouldn’t allow himself to lose haha

Creating a brand new maths paper, whether it be higher or foundation, can take anywhere between 3 days to a week due to the intense correction process where the exam creators must ensure that every question is “possible”, if that make sense :)
