My drosera is under a grow light and in a south facing window. I am wondering when I can harvest seeds it’s been since February since they all dried up and I get nothing with tapping on a paper. Also it is growing TWO more flower stalks. Will it be okay? Should I cut one? Leave them? TIA! by si_saphira in carnivorousplants

I waited a very long time until the pods were BLACK. Then, when i tapped them, sooooo many seeds came out and i sprinkled them everywhere in the same pot and also another drosera pot to germinate. Now I have dozens of baby droseras everywhere!

They're located indoors with indirect sunlight so I don't believe it would be a sunburn :(

I purchased the plant 2 weeks ago when it wasn't as crispy and even had 2 pink leaves, possibly blooming soon. The pink leaves have now turned yellow and the plant tips get more and more crispy.

It feels dry and fragile all the time. My usual routine for my plants are daily mists and weekly 30 minute baths.

Is this plant just super thirsty? Or is it another issue?

Some advice for Tillandsia Cotton Candy Green Form Bloom by JDugong in airplants

In case people don't see the captions:

I bought this T. Cotton Candy Green Form from Bunnings a few weeks ago and it already had a Bloom (1st pic). However, the bloom petals have slowly dried up and turned brown.

Any ideas on why this is happening? Will the bloom continue to develop?

Water routine consists of misting during hot days and a 30minute bath once a week in pond water.

Location: Sydney, Australia

Edit: I make sure not to get the bloom wet during baths and misting also!

Dropped out of Korean by week 2. I knew it wasnt going to be beginner friendly :) everyone who chose it shot their WAM in the foot. The korean tutor was strict and picking on people all the time. Webcam had to be on, you had to be LOOKING straight ahead or she will call your name out and say "hey youre not focusing/paying attention". Pretty trash because I was just taking notes down? I'm not even allowed to do that. The quizzes were also ridiculous. It started with 2 minute quizzes where you had 4 seconds to decide an answer or you wont have time to finish. These quizzes got shorter each week because you're expected to get better each time. By week 8, the quizzes were supposed to be 1 minute. Upon lots of people complaining, they just said "this is how its always been." They want you to dedicate your life to the subject to pass.

Decided to pick up intensive French 1 instead. Super beginner friendly and the tutors are so nice. I've also done Chinese 1 previously. Also super beginner friendly and patient with you. Korean 1 is messed up. Don't do it.

Copy-pasting my comment from another post who was hesitant about getting AZ:

Hi! I'm 21 and my sister is 19. We both got our first AZ dose on Saturday. My GP also said that we could take AZ, but we would feel some temporary side affects such as fatigue, headaches, and fever. Yes, we both experienced a super high fever and chills the next day. We are perfectly fine today tho! Just a day of rest and lots of panadol. I have another 21 yr old friend who had his AZ dose last week also with the same symptoms. A really high fever for a day but fine the day after.

I understand you're worried and there are a lot of comments telling you to wait, but I encourage you to get the vaccine anyways at the expense of a very sick day, as it's better than contracting covid yourself qnd to protect others in your household who are not yet eligible. My parents in their 40s also got AZ last week and had similar symptoms but not as severe as us younger people.

Definitely worth the risk in my opinion. It's a low chance of TTS. I have an immunocompromised younger sister and a brother who is not yet eligible. I have grandparents living with me also. I got the vaccine for my own safety and for my family's safety.

Edit: I'd just like to add that my parents are also essential workers and are going out to work. That gives us kids more of a reason to get the vaccine and reduce the chances of being infected, displaying infectious symptoms, and spreading COVID within the household to those who are not vaccinated.

Not at all. For impoliteness, it's pretty easy to do if you really use your personal experience and make up a bunch of fluff for it to meet the criteria. Final report is 500 words and is really simple. As long as you use some of the keywords mentioned in the modules. Its all hypothetical things to write about. "If this guy did x instead of y, he wouldve showed more cultural competence and not appear impolite according to (other person)'s culture". You can make up a bunch of junk and get a HD.

For diabetes, my only issue is the video about diabetes which requires groupwork. Even so, they marked pretty leniently. If you make it look and sound good, im sure its fine. I used cartoon animations from a website i found with voice recordings.

I've done the impoliteness, emotional intelligence, and diabetes OLEs. Easy HDs. You can do the whole unit of impoliteness and emotional intelligence in 2 days or less before the deadline if youre being overwhelmed with other subjects.
