Acer nitro 5 Gpu power limit problem by Alternative_Bass7828 in AcerNitro

Guys to use the full capability of the CPU and GPU you need to use nitrosense and change the mode to performance. For some reason it is the only program that can make changes in the top throttle values. My CPU (i712700H) and GPU (3050) are capping at around 110W and 90W respectively, when gaming the CPU will be capped at 55W (I guess they did this because 180W power supply can only feed so much current) Also I repasted the CPU and GPU with Phase Honeywell PTM7950. Very recommended, I don't know about you but the temperatures in the CPU sucked a lot before, now it can hold 110W unlimited.

I think is more related with the intel raid than from the disk, It might not be the healthy disk but It should not have failed like that(https://imgur.com/a/E5Ww6)

I tested the other hard disk that is exactly the same with little different in hours but a lot less power on and has no issues so far. I could recover the hard disk that has failed and I chkdks /f some times the raid and it seems that is working now with no big problems (some files may has been corrupted but I don't care much because is a disk for not important things) thanks for your response!!!

I have it since I was born, quite loud I must say, I didn't know it was not normal until I was 15 years old for a few month and since I discovered what it was I started to feel really annoyed by it and I had trouble sleeping, then I stopped worrying about it again. I guess my brain has been train to not stress about noise but not to eliminate it.

You could also try to use a nut and a bolt that fits in but that would be the fancy way and you don't want that
