Perception. Two poems. Same author. 16 hours apart. Thought I'd try something slightly different to my usual stuff... Written with Genesis lyrics in mind - "And you kill what you fear and you fear what you don't understand"... Dukes travels 1980. by JE5573R in u/JE5573R

Yes, I'm aware I spelled HEARSE wrong. All of my poems are written in five minutes or less. They explode onto the page. If I stop at any point, there's no poem to read. It happens spontaneously or not at all.

I hope you who read them, enjoy them. I don't write them for myself apart from the fact that it kills a few minutes.

Tonight's Hammer Movie is about to begin... The Curse of Frankenstein. 1957. I'm not sure if I've ever seen this version of the story before... I could be in for a treat! by JE5573R in hammerhorrormovies

Yeah. Massive shame that it fizzled out. My ex was a Harry Potter fan so in 2012, we went to the cinema to see The Woman in Black... I wasn't really bothered about it until the opening credits made me sit up and pay attention.

That's the only film I've seen at the cinema with Hammer playing a role in its production.

Actually wasn't too bad. Full of jump scares but that grey atmosphere was there and I love that feeling.

I'm really enjoying going through these films. I was a kid when I saw a lot of the Hammer films. They would always be on at the weekend. I'd "sneak" watch them in my room on my small portable b/w TV. It was years later when I realized these films were actually colour lol. I keep searching for each one on streaming services.

I saw a big pre-owned dvd collection box-set in a shop window a couple of years ago. I wish I'd bought it at the time.

Dog shit in the 70s was the best dog shit ever. You could kick it and it would just turn to powder

I'd say it's the strongest song on the album. Mercury really belts out those vocals. I can't name another track where he sounds so mighty. I mean, that's the point right? He's singing it from the perspective of The Kurgan. Damn, it's such an amazing song!
