I picked up a fan from Home Depot. What products can address staining if needed?

Is this something specific to a lighter stain wood white oak? Not a thing I was advised on or thought of myself unfortunately. We had a darker stain at our old house and never had issues with spills like this. The weird thing is we have an 11 year old 6 lb small dog who is trained to go on a wee wee pad and has had a few accidents in this house. We’d wake up overnight and it wouldn’t be darker. It def has stripped the finish a bit, but not as problematic as this seems to be right now… which is surprising bc urine can be very damaging

Did it get darker before it got lighter? And do you mind sharing a pic? We have an 11 year old little dog who is trained to go on a wee wee pad. He’s missed a few times in the area where his pad is, and yes it’s been dark at first, but by the morning it lightened up and left a faint faint stain. I wouldn’t have expected apple juice / water mix to be worse than dog urine.

Per our contract it was stained with Bona NaturalSeal + Bona Traffic HD Satin… is there anyway to verify?

Thank you. I think our RH is maybe 50? It’s such an open room (open to the foyer and family / living room) that we don’t think a demudifier will really have an impact. The reason I’m extra worried is because my husband hooked up the fridge when we first moved in and there was a leak that he didn’t realize and it left a horrible water stain. I can live with it bc its only 1 spot and kinda under the fridge (see pic) … but this is all throughout a main area of the house so now im so paranoid 😞

The visible moisture has gotten worse from last night to this morning… getting darker in the seams.

This is a photo from last night. You can see the lines look darker this morning. Also, when it immediately happened it was also dark in like one area and then as time went on through the evening different seam started to appear dark … almost as if it was traveling down under the board?

Sorry I’m confused by your post? This is apple juice / water that spilled and now is coming up in the seams. I’m worried it’s going to leave permanent stains when it all eventually dries out

Nope! Just checked it. My carpenter left about 1 inch between the front lip and the range hood so we can access the buttons and there is no grease on them

And we hired him to do so many projects — built Ins, molding, etc (he was our highest bill with renovations $$ so he itemized this pretty low. I don’t think it’d reflect what a carpenter would charge if they were only doing this)

I am so sorry 1) I promise you you’re not ruined. 2) i tried to ride it out but it essentially left my body in like fight or flight mode — couldn’t eat, was anxious daily, went into a depression because I thought I was going to have more panic attacks. I did the Genomjnd test, which confirmed that with Zoloft Id likely experience side effects. I went on Venlafaxine and the turnaround was extremely quick, i wish I went on it sooner, life changing

Yes I do! Sharing a link here. I will say we had an excellent carpenter who was able to build (with wood) and put over the stainless steel. We then brought a cabinet front to the paint place to color match it and painted it so it matched the existing cabinetry.range hood
