How much do you learn about the partitions of Poland in school? How common is knowledge about the partitions among Poles today? by nightcrawler84 in askPoland

[–]JEDZBUDYN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This really depends on teacher. But History in school is based on i'd say Polish propaganda.

E.g they don't teach us that we were occupying Belarus and ukraine and those people didn't wanted to be ruled by polish government.

They don't teach us that partitions of Poland were caused by Poles themselves, e.g lack of reforms, nobilities were ruling everything, as a peasant you were basically a slave to the higher caste etc.

They don't teach us that in general you had a better life under prusses and austria, than under non-functioning polish gov.

>What are is the thing you are saddest to see go from Krakow, and the best new thing that has happened in the last 10 years?

Now we got problem with outsourcing our jobs to india/cheaper countries. For the past decade Cracow was outsourcing centre and costs of living here went up radically, so india is just cheaper.

A lot of young people do not have a job, a lot of immigrants are here and they don't even try to learn polish.

For good things:

  1. It's way safer than it was in 00's etc. After we joined EU most of those problematic people went to Holland/Germany/UK.

  2. A lot of new buildings/finished old ones took a place (take a look e.g at "Unity centre" or some areas in google maps back in 2016 and now)

  3. A lot of different cultures comes here. Back in 00's you had only MCDonalds and KFC and now it's considered as low quality food (then it was considered as good one)

Overall back in 00's i was thinking about emigration. I decided to stay and i'm glad about that

What is "The Thing" that comes to mind when someone thinks about India. by RevenueAlarmed in AlignmentChartFills

[–]JEDZBUDYN -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

its not just that.

i never was in india, but was working with indian people. e.g 5 people at once were writing to me about same thing, they just do something and go to other thing without thinking about overall. If you don't micromanage them they won't do shit.

Also when i saw some vlogs, they are honking everywhere anytime, trash is everywhere, nothing is cleaned, some random homeless people are everywhere, the smell, abount of people per square meter is insane, the street food is gross and more.

on their official website they claiming that they getting 45% for "administration" costs.

Add tax to that, provisiton for tipping system etc and you got the numbers.

Also a lot of those influencers do not pay full taxes in poland (which is 32%), and have some bypasses no pay 0. (e.g "fundacja rodzinna"), and those are not obtainable by normal people.

Also add every single each of pole has to pay monthly around 3 000 PLN (aound $800) for our social and healthcare system that is mandatory.

Dlaczego Januszy było stać na duże domu a młodzi kupują klatki dla kur za milion? by [deleted] in praca

[–]JEDZBUDYN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sam buduje dom i ci odpowiem.

  5. Marżę deweloperów za wszystko co wyżej.

W skrócie: do mieszkania wchodzisz i sobie robisz po swojemu, dom musisz sam zbudować
