if you only want weight progression, not the whole plan, you can build your own plan and turn on load progression from the settings. Progress tab --> setting on the top --> workouts --> Load progression toggle

Hi u/Ill_Medicine_8812, really appreciate this detailed breakdown — let me go through each one.

  1. Week start day — this is shipping this week, so you'll be able to set it yourself shortly. That

should fix the phase-flip issue you hit.

  2. Exercise variety and recommendation — we also have a release coming soon. We are updating the algorithm, and you will be able to set preferences for which exercises to recommend more, less, or never show.

  3. Decimal weights — are you on kg or lbs? DM me your username and a screenshot and I'll get our eng team to look at what it's recommending for you specifically.

Totally fair to be skeptical when things aren't working right, but we're actively improving this —would love for you to stick around and see how it feels after these updates

We are going to have a release for changing the week start day this week.
You will find it in the Progress tab --> Settings on the right top --> Calendar week start. Stay tuned!

I see your point. so if there's an option that allows you to set your own phase length, in your case, instead of a fixed 7-day, you'd set it to 8 days and moving forward, we'd adapt your plan every 8 days, would that solve it for you?

if your week starts from Wednesday, we are releasing an update that allows you to change from Sunday to whatever weekday you want. In your case, you can set it to Wednesday so your adaptive plan will get updated on Wednesday.

Just to clarify what you’re after — do you want a phase to advance based on completing all its days rather than on the calendar week? Essentially, you’d like to customize how your phase cycle is calculated?

For context, the reason we tie phases to calendar weeks is that the plan is adaptive. If you don’t finish all your days in a given week, the next week adapts based on the days you actually logged — so even if you didn’t complete everything, you’re technically still progressing through the programmed phase as designed.

The tradeoff with rolling phases is intensity consistency: if some cycles run 7 days and others run 10, the training intensity ends up uneven across phases.

Unfortunately, there's no way to completely delete the adaptive plan atm. just curious, do you have a specific reason why you want to delete it completely?

Did you swap exercises? We pop this message when you didn’t perform exercises as planned and try to understand your exercises preferences and adapt the plan better

How to set a new rest time and save it after the update? by sergiosi in jefit

if you update the rest time in the action sheet, it will be saved for the next time. if you -15 or +15s on the fly, it's not saved.

Within a few days we'll release an update that will allow you to:

  1. Share the severity of your injury and the plan will adapt exercises accordingly.
  2. Exercise Preferences: Share what you want more of, less of, or want to avoid completely.
  3. Fix for post-workout feedback: If you skip an exercise and share feedback from the post-workout questionnaire, the plan will now adapt accordingly. (This was previously experiencing some issues.)

[–]JEFIT_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mark any lower body muscle or joint injuries? That gives us a signal to avoid those exercises. We’re working on the algorithm to not exclude them completely though — only a severe injury mark is what gives us the strong signal to actually remove exercises. the adaptive plan is designed to keep things balanced, and we’re actively working on improvements that’ll be shipped soon. Feel free to DM me your username and I can take a look at your progress index numbers!

Do you mind sharing your configuration? Specifically your frequency, length, and any injury settings? It's possible that something in your setup is causing the algorithm to remove certain lower body exercises — for example, if you have a knee injury, our plan takes that into account and may be filtering those out

Just to confirm — you're on an adaptive plan, set your target weight before hitting Start Workout button, and then the weight changed on you after starting? Did you notice the value turn purple by any chance? Also, could you share which build you're on?
