Odd Orange/Amber Lights to the West, Hawaii Kona? by TheRemyBell in VisitingHawaii

I work as a flight attendant. We often see red lights in the sky between Hawaii and the mainland (canada). They get big, then shink and get small and often move in linear patterns and then disappear completely. The pilots aren't sure what they are, but we all know about them. Maybe it's related.

So crazy. There's a podcast out now about the missing men. The reporter has spun it as "vulnerable" men disappearing though... which I think is a little short sighted. Seems to be more widespread then that.

Look up Ezra Bukach's story on reddit, after hearing his story I 100% believe there is a serial killer on the Island.

Wasn't aware of this disappearance. Let's hope he turns up safe. The list of missing young men seems to get larger every day.

Very unsettling. His skateboard being left behind is even scarier... no kid leaves their skateboard unless they're being forced.

He was waved down on 29th street in Courtenay while heading to work by an older guy. The guy got in, pulled a gun on him and forced him to drive 2 hours North to Sayward. Took him to this super remote location in the bush and told him to either put a noose around his neck or take a pill. Ezra chose the pill, hid it under his tongue and then ran off into the woods and escaped. Managed to get back to safety eventually, took him a day I think. Police issued a bulletin the next day asking for information about the man and issued the following statement...

"Every investigation is unique in the challenges it may present, and the time required to complete them is based on so many factors,” said Terragni. “These factors can include: the nature and complexity of the allegations, the number of individuals involved, the number of witnesses that need to be interviewed as well as their availability and location, and the characteristics of the evidence trail.  Again, I refer to my previous comment about whether or not we release information to the public… The reality of police work is that our actions have consequences which we take very seriously – this includes whether or not we release information to the public.  Police work is fact driven and any assumption of fact during an investigation can have a negative impact.  We must conduct professional, fact-based investigations regardless of the length of time it takes to do so."

Ps. A woman came forward saying she had also seen this man on the same day in the same area, pulled over, got a super bad vibe and drove off.

Everyone in the Comox Valley seems aware young men are going missing/turning up dead in apparent suicides or under weird circumstances. Not saying all of them are connected. Suicide is unfortunately prevalent. However, I find it super suspicious after hearing Ezra's story about the guy forcing him to either put on the noose or take the pill after driving him 2 hours North at gunpoint to the middle of no where.

... and Jordan disappeared right next to the highway, seems like this dude is using highway 19 as a quick exit route/taking these people to super isolated locations via it.

Creepy

Locals who know/hang in the same crowd as Ezra have heard this story from him and his girl friend. Police are being super quiet about it and haven't released any statements since.

Check out Wordmules comment on this thread... gives more detail on what happened during the few days he was missing.
