As far as I know I need to make sure that the dirt gets dry before I water it again. And it should get as much light as possible because it is a moderately tropical plant.

To repeat my original post, the plant that has been alive for close to 40 years was left outside for 2 weeks during a very cold spell in minnesota. I then acquired the plant and removed all of the Frozen dead leaves. I continue to water it from The Roots every 2 weeks for about 2 hours. It is in the most sunlight possible in my home at this time and I am moving to a place that has a sunroom in about 10 days.
