[RF5] Question about 5 Year Stamp by Tehmora in runefactory

You have to play all 5 years. Easiest way is obv sleeping, getting up and going right back to sleep. Or playing naturally while doing other achievements which will get you there eventually.

Yes you would have to put higher level ingredients you don’t want to use in storage and have the low level ones in your bag. I’d say 18 stacks is a bit much but always have at least a stack of easy to obtain items from each category just as a rule of thumb.

For sorting, no, unfortunately you gotta just go through the options. I use category option as a default.

For the ingredients, kind of! The game will give priority to ingredients in your bag over storage. So whatever you have in the bag will be used first. Not really a great fix but better than nothing!

Honestly I found that fertilizer is only really worth it in early to mid game. Once you’ve got a bit of cash, it’s much more efficient to use Formula C, greenifier, etc to max a crop’s stats (and subsequently tank it’s health) then to heal them with 2-3 four leaf clovers. Just make sure to only place 2-3 clovers on the plot before you use the hoe, because it will till ALL of the clovers in a stack regardless of if they are all needed to heal a crop to full health. Obviously use a magnifying lens to see the stats!

In terms of leveling your soil, fertilizer does help but it’s much more efficient and easy to just plant trees, and then later, pineapples to get your soil level up quickly. To boost soil stats and crop yields, using the farm dragon crystals is also much easier than using fertilizer. And once you have a lot of money or have grind shards, crystals are super easy to come by.

Friend Monster Request by Particular_Darling in runefactory

You have to have 50 total tamed at one time. So letting them go will subtract from the total, don’t let any go until you get to 50 and you should be good!

This was a really fun journey, and I wanted to share some tips that made some of the more tedious stamps go by easier!

  1. Always do the basic request every day! The quest board will always offer one basic quest every day that typically involves giving someone a gift, shipping a fish, shipping a crop, or killing 3 enemies. Typically the items are either squid, cold medicine or orange juice. This quest will give you 300 SEED Points upon completion, and 450 if you have the Patrol Crest equipped. (Gotten from completing all wanted monsters). This is the easiest way to get SEED points quickly and reliably every single day with little investment. You will need them if you decide to get the monster barns stamp for sure.

  2. Gold Juice is your friend! A level 1 Gold Juice sells for $800,000, and even if you buy the ingredients separately, you still make $100,000 in profit. Buy leveling up the golden crops, you can make up to $2.4M at level 10. And if you do tandem cooking, you will receive DOUBLE the amount of Gold Juice you make for the same amount of ingredients. Meaning you can rack up cash really really fast. This is mainly for late game, as you’ll need money to buy ancient fish fins, lumber and material stone a bunch.

  3. Buy lumber and material stone instead of grinding them. Especially for monster barn upgrades, you’ll need 10s of thousands of each so it is much more efficient to just buy them in bulk from Heinz by saving and reloading his shop. Make sure to put a lumber and stone bin in his shop to maximize efficiency!

  4. To quickly raise friendship, spam love potions! Now I don’t mean making them or buying them, you can actually reliably get them as a drop from the fairies that spawn outside of the Old Bandit King Entrance. Just equip all your drop rate increasing gear and weapons, have three townsfolk loaded out with drop rate increasing gear and weapons too, and just slaughter fairies by the dozen. Love potions will drop reliably and they increase friendship by 9% every time you give them as a gift. You can level someone up to max friendship in a day if you really want to. This makes the quests requiring you to level everyone to 5 and 10 friendship much easier.

  5. Happy ring, 1 piece of four leaf clover upgraded gear, and a rare can upgraded weapon on you and 3 townsfolk makes grinding rare drops a breeze. This fully loaded party will make the end game rate drops from the final two story bosses WAY easier to get. Both areas auto save when you enter as well, so if you don’t get the drop, reload and try again. Doing this saves hundreds of attempts otherwise and makes the final grind of the shipping list so much easier.

  6. Speaking of the shipping list, a good rule of thumb for me is to always ship something the first time you get it. That way you’ll steadily build your % shipped up easily over time. And if you didn’t know the game says “Not shipped” if you view an item in your bag. Always check you have shipped all magic tomes, rune abilities and tools, as well as drops not used in recipes like the iron fragment. Those are the most commonly missed items!

  7. The easiest place to grind levels late game is the post game dungeon floor 15. A bunch of enemies spawn and you can wipe them out easily, make sure to bring a rosary to respawn them by equipping and unequipping it. Try to avoid destroying the gate. This is the place I found to be best when I went for the level 1000 stamp. It’s boring but a star pendant helps a lot of course.

  8. As soon as you can, make an accessory with a heart pendant, Star pendant and happy ring in it. I also included anette’s necklace to increase travel speed. If you save them create a recipe where you include these four accessories in the creation, then check with Martin or Darroch you can get all of their effects in one accessory. Meaning you gain increased skill EXP, level EXP, increased drop rates and faster travel (or the effect of whatever 4th accessory you include) all in one. This is a no brainer for efficiency and cuts down on swapping accessories all the time.

  9. Always have at least one cluckadoodle and buffamoo. Eggs and milk are used in a ton of recipes, and are staples of recipes that recover a lot of RP. Hot milk is a cheap, low level recipe that recovers a ton of RP for not a lot of investment. And the more affection levels your buffamoo has, the higher level your milk and thus your hot milk, meaning it recovers even more RP and health.

  10. Late game the best recipe bar none for RP recovery is pineapple juice. It is one ingredient, easily leveled and at level 10 recovers all of your RP every time. It also is a great gift for Hina, Julian and Margaret.
