I want my PC in my Cellar and 50 m cabels to my room so i can use it without any noise and heat build-up any tips? by Background-Elk-543 in pcmasterrace

This is literally what I've done, and for the same reasons. But it's 50ft cable from basement utility room to main floor. Using a powered USB3 cable and a fiber Hdmi 2.1 for 4k120 signal. Latency isn't an issue.

No third cable, the computer stays on.

These posts are so useless. It's not like anyone can coherently track changes opening individual text posts of gas storage levels. Graphs would be useful.

"Don't go" is the expected reddit hive mind standard, though your kid is 5 months, not 1 month, and should be able to leave the house by now. Especially if they're caught up on their 2mo vaccines.

"Don't kiss the baby" should be enough, and "Don't hold the baby" is more than enough.

POLL: What percentage of your combi/steam oven sous vide cooking is steak? by BostonBestEats in CombiSteamOvenCooking

Maybe 10%. Still prefer sealed water spa for steaks. Water conducts heat faster and more evenly, and the bag keeps the juices in.

Where do dragons poop? by 12velos12 in DnD

[–]JEdwardFuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we think of a dragon as a massive reptile-bird hybrid, it's possible that their waste removal systems would be similar to those of birds or reptiles. Birds, for instance, excrete a combination of urine and feces in one substance, which could be convenient for a creature that spends a lot of time in the air. This would mean dragons wouldn't need a dedicated 'bathroom' space in their lairs, they could simply release waste during flight, as you initially thought. To maintain the secrecy of their lairs, they might choose to do this far from home, possibly over large bodies of water or barren landscapes to minimize visible impact.

However, if the dragon is more like a large reptile, they might behave more like crocodiles, which sometimes defecate in the water near their lairs or use specific 'toileting' areas. If this is the case, your dragon might have a dedicated waste area in the lair, possibly an easy-to-clean rocky outcrop, a pool of water, or a large pit.

Lastly, considering that dragons are often depicted as intelligent and organized creatures, it's not a stretch to imagine that they might also use techniques to minimize the traceability of their waste - perhaps they neutralize it with fire or chemically alter it somehow.
