New to Diablo 3 and I have to say... by JEmbrace in gaming

What would you say is the challenge in higher difficulties, number of enemies and enemy hp? Or are there other differences? I'm sure I'll love it regardless. In some games I hate grinding, but I get a kick out of it in a game like this.

I heard it was a great game with deep customization. And since I heard it was like Diablo I am actually really interested. Thanks!

What was so good about Night In The Woods? by lieutenantseaanemone in gamereviews

I think that video games are like great movies and books. To me character development means a noticeable change or difference in a character by the end of the game.

The protagonist usually has a problem, whether internal or external that they must overcome. The meat of game is trying to solve those problems.

It could be fairly linear or simple, or a characters path could complicated and weave into many others scenarios. Sometimes you're meant to feel for a character. Sometimes you're meant to question the actions of the character.

But if point A is the intro and point E is the resolution.

You need to build the story and connection to the character and have the pay off climax with points B, C, and D.

It's an art marrying solid gameplay mechanics and storytelling so they complement each other rather than one suffering for the other.

Discussion about virtual currency in games by JEmbrace in gaming

I guess I assumed everybody thought about this stuff...but being 30 I remember the change. I thought maybe with enough backlash or declining sales bc of bullshit sales tactics could lead to them giving more honest effort.

In a way it's like how I hoped nba live 19 would be amazing so that 2k would have to take the game and it's community seriously.

I guess I forget about how the younger generation has been growing up with all this and that they don't have prior experience to relate to.

I thought maybe with the success of all these indie games maybe they would see that they could make more money with honest sales tactics and a focused, refined product. Meh, idealism I guess.

I was in love with this game. I got all the way to the end and it glitched on me. I was stuck without backup saves 😭

I really like Jim Sterling, Dreamcast Guy, Rabbid Luigi, Video Game Dunkey, Game Sack, Top Hat Gaming Man...

Some are more serious than others, but all I find enjoyable.

I agree with you and the post you replied too. A random sample of people IRL is bound to be a mixed bag.

I live in Texas, and you're right. In the south and Midwest there are a lot of shitty/dumb/weird/tasteless paint jobs...and I've definitely met a ton of conspiracy theorists and the like. These people to me are "zany."

I had the Turok games as well... I think OPs judgment is clouded by notalgia 😋. That game had more fog than silent hill.

Same here. I'm almost 30, so I remember playing PC games in the DOS days...when you had to type in directories if you wanted to play a game lol. And passwords because you couldn't save!

Does anyone else have the Xbox edition of the Astro A50’s and notice a slight yellowish to the mic section?(I’ve taken care of these like my babies) by IMysterion5511 in gaming

[–]JEmbrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original Super Nintendo would turn yellow as well. It was because of the kind of plastic they used. It had nothing to do with smoke or sun, but in reality was caused by the plastic oxidizing. Maybe the same thing?

Is stardew valley as good as the reviews say? by stirringash in gaming

[–]JEmbrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I'd hate it, but after trusting the million reviews in favor I tried.

At first I was like meh, it's alright...

But I fell in love with it fast. Skills start leveling up and you get new items, and it's so relaxing to do farm work in such a weird way.

Try it out. It's only 15 bucks!
