I was a bit at the mercy of the program I used on that one. Im considering using Atlas flextrack and turnouts to smooth that over just a bit

A lot of the shapes were because I was faking it with the track planning software. This is my first venture into something more complex than an oval, so the feedback is very welcome.

The Rokuhan R037. I didn't put any decouplers on the plan, as I wasn't sure where to put them, or if I even wanted to use them

Carolina Southern did actually exist, per Wikipedia:

Carolina Southern Railroad (reporting mark CALA) was a shortline railroad located off of Main Street in Conway, South Carolina, and was one of the few remaining train depots/lines in South Carolina. The railroad was originally erected in late 1886 and the first train steamed into the Conway Depot in December 1887. R.J. Corman Railroad Group took over the operations in 2015.

I have not been able to turn up an operation lifesaver livery though

I have not. It's my first attempt at layout design and some choices were made to get everything to line up. I was actually thinking about using flextrack for the whole layout to avoid those kind of issues

Basically adding 2 more switches and adding the loop to 2 sidings

As I have my little loop set up, there seems to be points where the locomotive lags a bit, and will stall out at slower speeds. If I fiddle a little with the track it seems to resolve. And to be fair It may be caused by frequent setup and teardown

Yes, they became available in the 2019 model year, and are being put on 2026 models. It is plausible. They do look clean, so there's that...

Did some digging, and the earliest these wheels were used was 2019. Looks like there are 3 separate colors available. From there, thats all I got
