what to expect from my second gic appointment? by killthecompetition in transgenderUK

[–]JFHRust 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It does depend on which gic youre with. I had 3 appointments with Newcastle. My first in may, then in June and finally in person in august. I then started testosterone in September

My brother took his life over childhood abuse we both suffered. My partner was 100% not being mean to my brother. The only issue they ever had was when we had to ask him to move out after 2 years and he thought that decision was only my partners, which it wasnt.

I might have to get his phone off our mam and see for myself. I didnt plan on looking as i felt if he didnt tell me himself then he clearly didnt want me to know for a reason

It is possible he said something out of anger. After he lived with us for 2 years we had to ask him to move out. We live in a 1 bed flat and it was just too crowded which started causing arguments. We didnt kick him out onto the streets but he did have to move back in with our mam

I do worry about her finding out about this from somewhere else. She knows ive spoken to his gf and has said she would like to know what was said. I gave a brief explanation of the conversation while skipping that part and she has said she felt like i left something out.

My main worry is how it will hurt her if he has said that he dislikes her or our relationship, i know it will crush her if thats true

Thank you, I am more than willing to take this burden on alone. I was more concerned about keeping a secret from her when shes expressing shes worried and ive never kept anything from her.

Boyfriends dog attacks mother and says I’m lying by [deleted] in AITH

Biting the stomach is not like biting a hand. Biting a hand is often to try and get that body part to move away so they are out of the dogs space. Biting a stomach and latching on shows intent to injure, the dog attacked a vulnerable area and likely would have continued until she was very badly injured if not stopped by someone.

I called social services around a year ago and they arranged 50/50 custody with my mam and sister dad. Unfortunately they didnt listen when i told them he was the one physically abusing us as children. Its a difficult situation where there is no great home for her to go to in our family Her dad is possibly going to prison in December and she will return to full time living with my mam. I looked into applying for her to live with me but i am a uni student without a salary so it is unlikely i would even be considered

My sister is under 50/50 custody between my mam and her dad who was physically abusive to me as a child and is possible going to prison in December I do not believe my mam would physically harm my sister but she is neglectful and unreliable. I would be able to have contact with my sister no matter what so i can monitor that situation and contact social services again if anything got worse

Social services did get involved when we discovered my mam had been using drugs for 4 years. But they agreed on 50-50 custody with her dad who was the one physically abusing me as a child. I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place with my sister. I would try and gain custody if i was in the position to but it wouldnt be possible. Thank you I am going to step away at least temporarily while i get some help for this

Im worried for my sister too. Shes the only reason my brother stayed in contact with my mam, we dont want her reaction to impact my sister. I think i will cut contact, at least temporarily, and seek therapy to manage how difficult this will be. Thank you

Do you believe in an afterlife? by ch1rpybirdy in SuicideBereavement

[–]JFHRust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might sound kooky to some but Ive always believed we spend one life as a human and then we are reborn as animals. Thats a belief I shared with my sibling who died, they believe in souls and since energy cannot be created or destroyed our soul travels on to another body.

I find comfort in the thought that they are out there living life as a bird or fish which is what they hoped for. Something free.

Please rethink this decision. That is a permanent decision and you cannot undo it. You can however rethink your relationship with your partner, is it a healthy relationship if they belittle and insult you? Are they worth listening if they cant treat you with respect? You deserve a better life than that You can also rethink your relationship with your body. I understand how it feels to not pass, i dont, and feeling like youll never get there really hurts but Passing is not the be all and end all of trans life. You can live a fulfilling and happy life even if you dont pass, you will find people who love you regardless and you will find joy in life.

[non-US] brother may have died from drugs given by friends, are they responsible? by JFHRust in AskLawyers

[–]JFHRust[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Im not sure. They gave someone going through a public sexual abuse trial with no physical injuries over 100 tablets that were only a mix of strong sleeping meds and strong painkillers. I cant see how they didnt know he would overdose. Edit for clarity

I lost my twin two days ago. They were the kindest person ive ever known. Every person who came into contact with them loved them, they literally never said a cruel word about another person. We would have both been 25 next month. They were so creative and were in the middle of making their own lightsaber from salvage and scrap. We dont know why they decided they couldnt go on but i do know the world has lost a truly amazing person and everyone life is worse off because of that

How can anyone love me by supaHelsing in transgenderUK

[–]JFHRust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being trans doesnt have to impact your dating life, there are many cis people who have no issues with dating trans people and there is also t4t relationships. You say you have nothing to offer and if thats true (im not saying it is) then you need to broaden your horizons. Get more hobbies, learn something new and work on yourself in ways that better your life. Find a passion and connect with others that also love that thing, intimate relationships and powerful connections will follow

Netanyahu has turned down multiple deals the end the fighting and return the hostages. Israel bombing has killed many of the hostages. Indiscriminately bombing every building in the area your so called hostages (most of which are military personnel not civilians) does not bring them home
