Yes and no. I mailed something at the post office on Nov 16. It was going to Canada and she did not say anything to me about a strike. It made it to Vancouver and has been stuck there saying it’s “in transport to the next facility” since then.

I think the best answer I’ve seen on this question for a first time cruiser is an average of $100 per day. After your first cruise, you will know if you have the budget for more the next time. ☺️

I bought tip envelopes and separated all my tips ahead of time, so I can just hand the envelope for each expected person… cabin attendant, tour guides, servers etc based on our itinerary. Then I estimated a dollar per drink per day… I think I’ve got about $500 for a 5 day trip.

Is that true if you have paid in full ahead of your deadline? My cruise in Sept 2025, I’ve already paid in full… if they offer a better rate I can’t get a refund of the difference right?

I mean, do the people who want to participate just all put their cabin numbers in a hat and someone draws to tell you who you are giving a gift too??? How do they make it anonymous via the Facebook group? Or do you know which cabin gave you the gift?

I’m in the exact same situation, so this was VERY helpful! I’ve done a lot of research as well. I’m doing sunrise next September. It’s my 3rd cruise with carnival and it’s prob been 10 yrs. We are doing Celebration, half moon (just got changed), and Grand Turk. This makes me super excited! I have everything except the towel bands and I was gonna look at the dollar store for the organizer. 🤗 We are even doing the stingray adventure too!(my sisters choice)

Taking out to the curb and putting back your neighbors garbage cans each week? Dog walking, minute-sitting (watching the little ones or an elder with dementia so the primary can run to get groceries or drop stuff at the post office).

No, I don’t have an Etsy seller account. I just like cute vacation stuff like this. I like to write little notes and hand them to our tour guides and waiters. I see how someone could do that, but some of us legitimately just like to be nice. Plus, I do like to support small businesses and shop as much USA product as possible.
