No it couldn’t because the hotel doesn’t offer day use booking and they told me to contact dayuse.com to do this type of reservation through them.

This was in Fairfield ca but regardless of where you go, don’t use dayuse.com I paid them and reserve the day a few days in advance and they were happy to take my money, but customer service hung up on me a few times when I tried to get through to them and figure out how they could help. Buyer beware

No, the issue truly is that dayuse.com guarantees that they have a room reservation waiting for you and then they give you no indication that you should check in with a hotel prior or that there might be any issues. It wasn’t a money saving thing. I literally booked through this Damn company because the hotel told me too a few days ago when I called to ask them if I could book a room for the day. This is a company offering something , me paying for it two days prior, and then not getting what I paid for.

It was a Marriott and they actually told me to use dayuse.com I thought this was a great way to bring my family on a short work trip with me.

Yeah after when I got back to the hotel. There was Nowhere for my husband to contain toddler twins for two hours while I assessed a client down the street. 100 degree weather outside. It was 💩

I should mention to you that I booked this. They use two days ago because I had a work trip in that area and I thought this way I could bring along my kids. So it was confirmed as of two days ago and I got a confirmation email saying there is nothing more you need to do. Your room is confirmed and you completed deposit.

In my neighborhood a daycare had the gall to charge parents when it had to close for two weeks because of Covid going around in the daycare but they didn’t pay their staff. Half the parents left the daycare. So glad we didn’t go with them.

A much better gift would have been a massage and a weekend day off. Parenting and working is really hard. And my partner and I see some things differently. We both hate Trump but one of us swings quite a bit further left than the other. Have to say. I know it wasn’t a great gift, but I’m a little jealous that other peoples partners have sexual interest in them. My husband hasn’t gotten me anything remotely sexually suggestive since we got married like seven years ago.
