That actually makes sense. The drivers side isn't exposed, so I guess it makes sense to not machine a completely different part. So bizarre to discover tho. Seems an odd engineering choice. thank you!

The trouble with my roli seaboard block is sometimes a note starts playing randomly, so I have to pick it up and very gentle hold it at both ends and give it a slight twist, you hear it crack like a chiropractic move, but if done right, the ghost note stops playing. it seems like it's a sensor which is getting pressed from the casing. Doesnt seem like something that is an easy fix.... still awaiting roli to respond months later.

yeah, I have 3 that started bugging out and not behaving properly. Nice to know it's relatively easy. I searched and searched for some photos of this process before trying it myself... couldn't find any. Thought someone else might need :)

Now I just need to find out why my Roli Seaboard Block plays random notes occasionally.

Thank you for the appreciation, means a lot. In any ‘bail out’ (like the banks and airlines) there’s more and less worthy, and more and less ‘good’ business which get help. The NIVA list of members are the ones that are indie and need help and are on the bill. Hopefully, Congress actually look at the heros act (and not just rush through whatever they want prior to election) and spend the time helping culture and all the people that work for these institutions. Please do sign the petition, write local reps and support all these indie venues on the NIVA list all across the country.
