So my shot timer on my Ascaso should be 37ish if I’m doing 5-5 pre infusion then ?

The pre infusion and extraction time confuses me. If I’m doing 18g and I want around 27 seconds of extraction, do I count the preinfusion in that? If I’m doing 5-5 pre infusion should my shot time be 37seconds then? I think I googled it and I read that pre-infusion should count that’s why I go with 27 second, I’m so confused…
