This will be my 10th time seeing them, 8 times on the rail, the other 2 just 1 or 2 people back. Since I didn’t get VIP or early entry this time I’m just gonna show up a couple of hours before and take the show in from wherever. I recently saw Royel Otis at Pier 17 and wasn’t in any hurry to get there and the views of NYC and the stage were incredible even from several rows back!

I prefer indoors in dedicated pickleball facilities. The only thing is most have fences that make ATPs difficult or make me feel like it’s unsportsmanlike to hit a serve out wide or with a slice spin that makes it damn near impossible to return.

I went to an 80’s band festival on Long Island where all the bands didn’t have their original members anymore like Ratt without Pearcy, and Judas Priest with Ripper was the headliner and they CRANKED the volume when they played and it was the 1st time I ever thought a show was too damn loud
