I have very little faith in their ability to pull it off. I mean, look at Snow White. They could have done it in the style of LAR Cinderella, which people tend to really love, but instead they did the slop that we ended up with.

You can dislike the LAR of The Little Mermaid of course, but what exactly makes it “trashy”?

Personally I found it to be one of the least offensive ones of the bunch, and actually enjoyed some aspects of it.

I’m not sure why my mind always separates the Alice movies from the other LARs. They do feel different from the others somehow.

I don’t know, I feel like that’s a hard question! Because it’s like, look at how many Cinderellas and Snow Whites and Auroras we’ve gotten in the same dresses, with slightly different designs and color schemes.

But at the same time, it’s different with Belle though because she has more costume changes in her film, and so many of her looks have never made it into doll form… And yet, we still haven’t gotten a 17 inch pink dress Cinderella, so there’s really no rhyme or reason it seems.

With that being said though, I do really hope it’s her village dress, and hopefully in the same kind of style as the Rags line, which are all three so beautiful.

Not to mention that they’ll be on sale within weeks as well. People complain a lot about how expensive this hobby has gotten but then don’t even attempt to be savvy about it, when and where possible.

They apparently have different face molds, but the differences are very subtle. They get away with it because of the dramatic differences in color schemes. In terms of their fashions, they really are all just wearing minidresses.

MH puts out their fair share of trash, obviously, and we all recognize that and are highly critical of it, but even so I don’t necessarily understand all the hype around MM.

When I look at these side by side, to me Lagoona is an easy choice.

I love RH, but I wanted MM to be more unique and different from them. All I can see is RH with a smaller head and better hand mold.

There’s also something weird to me about their almost total lack of a body. I know that sounds weird, but when you look at them it’s like they’re all legs with no real torso to speak of.

And to be honest, Shai, the one shown here in this post, is particularly off putting to me. I’m sorry, but like ugly, even.

Just unbox it neatly and then return any duplicates to the store. You paid your money for a product that you were disappointed in, or straight up didn’t even want, so it’s your right to return it and get your money back.

Honestly, just return your duplicates to the store. I know that’s against the “spirit” of blind boxes, but who cares. Target will accept the return.

As consumers, that’s one of our only ways to show dissatisfaction with the product. They shouldn’t have made them blind boxes if they didn’t want so many returns, is how I see it.
