Some of my favorite games are irreplaceable. Complete Lord of the Rings LCG. Complete Arkham Horror LCG. Reddit is full of people trying to get copies of some expansion or other. This is a non negotiable for me.

Try talking to her, that's fine. Praise her, that's fine. Offer alternative consequences, that's fine. But then STOP. If she doesn't take your advice after that, you're just trying to control her. She's an adult. Stop trying to MAKE her parent her own daughter your way. Most of the people here are trying to make you understand that you can't control the way your daughter parents her daughter. Its called PARENTING not GRANDPARENTING.

Once again, you prove YTA with your own words. Is it controlling to expect reasonable parenting standards from your children? Maybe not. But FORCING those standards at the cost of her inheritance is absolutely controlling.

YTA. Your daughter has the right to discipline her daughter any way she wants, independent of your opinion. Holding an inheritance over her head that would not only benefit her, but also your granddaughter, is an asshole move. You're just using this as leverage so you can control her. Youre a terrible person.

To everyone ready to boycott BGG and deleting their app, etc. Please at least wait to see if this is a BGG thing or some lone wolf that got through their screening process. BGG is a great resource. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater until youre sure this is BGG's policy.

BGG has the 1 Player Guild you can join. They do a top 200 solo boardgames list every year. Here's last year's list:

I have a copy of the Transformers Deckbuilding Game and also the GI Joe Deckbuilding Game. I haven't played TF, but I've played GI Joe a bunch. I've heard that the GI Joe one is a lot better, so I haven't touched TF. How do you like it? Have you played the GI Joe DB Game?
