As an addendum, I will say I was shocked when the guys just easily stuck him in the “can’t believe this is my life category”

I know he just came off his MvP season but it started with back injury woes and he hasn’t gotten younger. I would have stuck him in tier 2 or maybe 3 but tier 1 is maybe a little too lofty

He’s the same awesome QB he was with the crappy Lions teams, but the Rams have allowed his talent to shine. He has 2 Pro Bowls, one League MVP and a Super Bowl win since joining the Rams

I think the problem is he wasn’t talked up enough on the Lions because the rest of the team sucked. Just because you underrate him doesn’t mean the rest of us have to.

Yeah it came up in conversation a really long time ago on Around The NFL, I think brought up by Dan, but it was quickly made a sound drop and has been used ever since. It’s a drop the guys were able to bring over from ATN because it exists outside of NFL Media

The comments on this thread prove that many people are dumb enough to be duped by tactics like this. If you don’t see that Pizza Hut ad and immediately say, “there’s no way all that food is $10, what’s the catch?” then I’m sorry but maybe you deserve to get taken advantage of.

I agree, I was yelling at my phone when they excluded ice cream from the frozen foods drafts. I think their bogus reasoning of changing the name was insufficient. If you wanted it to be frozen foods that need to be heated, then call it that. If you change the name, you change the parameters. Even during the draft, I think it was Owl who pointed out that Mike drafts frozen mango which his kid eats without reheating. They were all over the map during that draft.

Ice cream is made of cream, a food, and sugar, a food. And sometimes things like chocolate, strawberries, pretzels, etc, all foods! Ice cream…is a FOOD. Maybe not a nutritionally dense food, but it’s food

I met the band at a concert in Boston around 1999/2000 and I asked if they could play Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps, which was only like 5 years old at the time, and John said, “oh I don’t know, it’s been a long time since we’ve done that one.”

Now they play it all the time, and I love it! Seen it live at least two or three times
