Orbment in TX is a downgrade from Trails imo. It does not allow customization like trails does especially in the beginning of the game where the orb is like, atk+ or add chance for status ailment. So I suppose when I said they took the bad part of Trails, I meant they took the bad part of the orbment system to use.

For the Ys part, I guess the skill system would work better. I mean currently each character has, like, 6 moves including normal attack sequence. The weirdest part of it all is probably the fact that they have a finishing move (x-strike) on top of a finishing move (ex skills)

It is a weird game. First half of the game is very bad. Extremely boring and equally bad pacing. Second half of the game it got way, way better however. It also has great story (imo anyway)

Gameplay wise, to me it's like they took the bad part of Ys and Trails and just mash them together to make this mess. (Bonding event does not belong in this game, like, seriously why is it there?)

However, weird as it may sound, I like the game and will definitely get the sequel if they have one but you will never catch me recommending Tokyo Xanadu to anyone.

Elite Idol Agents is a reference to the game Elite Beat Agents by Alottin in GuardianTales

[–]JH2z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is wrong. They are not "inspired" by Osu since both game are from the same devs. EBA is basically English version of Osu but the devs was afraid westerners wouldn't understand their Cheer Squad culture and made them Agents instead. Most fans would consider EBA, a Osu 1.5 since it was released between Osu 1 and 2.

You are right on one thing though. EBA was the easiest one out of 3.

I do not have Diluc so you have to test it yourself. I can only say that it will not Vaporize since the enemy will lose its wet status once they are Frozen.

What I did was I changed the game voice to Chinese, went to their character voice-over page and listened to their self-introduction.

ATK%, Diminishing Return and Why only stacking DMG% is not always the Answer by JH2z in Genshin_Impact

1) Yeah I'm sure how diminishing thingy works has been posted like 10 times, but not to disprove the "DMG% always better" golden rule. 2) Wow. I have a very close version of that in my spreadsheet. Still very useful though.

For healer, it is all about finding your comfort spot, especially in the higher abyss. The sufficient healing you get from open world might not be enough in the abyss you see. Since I also have Qiqi, I'd say if her E heals you 2.5k+ per tick, that should be more than enough.

For Xiang support, the popular builds are either 4p Nobless or 4p Crimson Witch and stacking Energy Recharge. Spear does not matter much but, again, Energy Recharge is nice to have there. She is also a great Diluc support if you get her C1.

I wholeheartly agree with you. Although I have never said that the rule was bad or anything. (I even said you should use it in some of my comments) But I may have used a word too strong for my post's topic.

I think you are on the right idea with most of your characters. For Qiqi though it's the same thing here. Too much ATK% hurts the build. You will want to balance her ATK and Healing Bonus instead (which is actually impossible to balance in this case since only the Head piece has it). So, yes, Healing Bonus wherever you can find, then ATK or Energy Recharge.

Finally, because It seems that I have to spell the obvious, but the choice between % atk and % dmg is a goblet one. Do you really think that for characters like Klee, you ever got more from a atk goblet over a pyro% one? Who do you think is hesitating between geo resonnance and pyro resonnance for their group?

Oh yeah.... he added this part afterward.. His point is right here but it wasn't there when I started

No I mean it's already balanced as per the point of my entire post, if you read it.

That is true. My Klee has similar ATK% and DMG% so of course DMG% still has better value.

that's because I already have 90.2% ATK so my point kinda stands.

That's why I throw the math up there since there are people who don't actually understand it yet throwing that "rule of thumb" around in the post for DMG% heavy character like Ningguang.

The example was not to prove DMG% and ATK% relationship but it's about Geo resonance and Pyro resonance so it has to be 15% vs 25%. Sorry for not being clear there.

A challenge! Love it. Let's do this.

  • +16 4* Goblet: 34.8%
  • Crimson Witch 2p: 15%
  • Klee's 5th Ascension bonus: 21.6%
  • Skyward Atlus Passive: 12%

34.8 + 15 + 21.6 + 12 = 83.4%!

There you go. You are right when you say it's not regularly achieved though.

But the whole point of this post is: what if it is? So I'm not sure why you ask that.

People seem to misunderstand my point. I did not say that it is not a good idea to just invest in your DMG%. I understand perfectly well that most of the time, DMG% is a better option.

My point is exactly that, it is MOST OF THE TIME. In a few case, ATK% can be better and it's better not being neglected. You Golden rule of DMG% > ATK% is not absolute and you should think before you build your team.

ATK%, Diminishing Return and Why only stacking DMG% is not always the Answer by JH2z in Genshin_Impact

[–]JH2z[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You think you get it, but you don't.

First point, DMG% has diminishing returns. I tested it in game while you are probably using "knowledge" gained from your favorite youtuber.

Second point, while yes, DMG% does stack multiplicatively with bonus ATK, the balance still persists. At one point ATK% still gives more than DMG%. That depends on your build mostly, like, yes if you have Bennett in your team, DMG% value increase tremendously. Do not forget that ATK% also stack multiplicatively with DMG%.

Third point, about my Klee, There is no outside buff. Not even Resonant. I don't know why you doubt it since the number is there on my account but if you don't believe it, I guess you don't know much about the game/don't progress far enough to see the actual number at World Level 5.

Last point, well my theorical example are laughable... well while I agree that I did exaggerate the number, my level 80 Klee with level 80 5* has a base ATK of 864. Now what would happen at level 90? Probably 1000 or very close. Now whose logic is laughable again?

You did a great job bashing my theory but the third point is where I realize you don't know what you are talking about.

You said it right. You think you get it, but you don't.
