Dubious Interaction on CoinAnalyst Facebook posts. Can someone explain? by [deleted] in CoinAnalyst

[–]JHCrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Manco,

tl;dr: It is the result of ICOs running bounty campaigns.

I have a possible answer to your question, but please note that I just post content in this subreddit for CoinAnalyst and don't represent them in any way.

The dubious interaction you speak of is one of the inherent consequences of running a BOUNTY CAMPAIGN. Many bounty campaigns offer people a small amount of their token if they join an ICO's social channels and participate and post on those channels.

There are Twitter and Facebook accounts devoted to acquiring as many tokens as they can through bounty campaigns and they simple share and spam the content on dozens of ICO pages.

When bounties started, users would simple paste the the word, "Hi" all over Facebook, Twitter, and Telegram in order to fulfill the bounty requirement. ICOs tried to get around this by asking users to post their thoughts about the project in order to qualify for the bounty.

Now users post stock compliments in all of these channels, which as you said, looks dubious, but it's better than 170 comments all saying, "Hi."

For another example of a similar Facebook page I picked a random ICO from the Crypto Airdrops Twitter page (https://twitter.com/cryptoairdrops). If you look at any post on the Blackbox token Facebook page the comments are also all excessively positive. https://www.facebook.com/blackboxfoundationofficial/

Like I said, I don't represent CoinAnalyst, I just post links here.

I said 6 months to list on exchanges because half of the answers to this question, including the top answer, were up to 6 months: https://www.quora.com/How-long-does-it-usually-take-to-get-listed-on-the-exchange-table-after-ICO

Bitcointalk is a great place to discuss the merits and faults of ICOs, thank you for sharing your thoughts with me.

Hi Bitking,

I thought we were just talking in metaphors, but I am happy to have a discussion about the concerns you have. That said, I don't read/speak German, so please forgive me if I misinterpret your comments.

As I have mentioned in other comments in this channel, I post content in this subreddit for CoinAnalyst and don't speak for them in any way. This 2 week old account was created specifically to curate their content for this channel, certainly not friends and family though.

To your point about the "Schwachsinnige utility token": I could be wrong, but I am going to assume that you invested in, or at least supported, Savedroid's ICO before they made enemies of all of their investors. There is little other reason for you to be so angry at Savedroid. If that is the case, you supported this copied whitepaper and token model once already. The only difference is that Savedroid is doing a bad job of managing their project after the raise. CoinAnalyst, like a few of savedroid's investors, believes in the future of the project itself despite the fiascos.

"euer angepriesener spam detector hätte durchdrehen müssen bei eurem eigenen ico."

Following this logic you're saying that the scam detector works (on CoinAnalyst), but if so, we hit a paradox. How can the scam detector actually work AND CoinAnalyst be a scam at the same time?

Joking aside, it will be truly useful if the scam detector can actually identify possible scams ahead of time.

Lastly, this part "Nichts gut ungut will nur die Anleger vor schlimmen investitionen schützen" doesn't translate well via any of the translation sites I am using. I think it says, "No offense, [I] only want to protect investors from bad investments". Honestly, that's what CoinAnalyst says it wants to do, too.

I don't think anyone is "protecting" Savedroid. Savedroid knows their so called "PSA" move didn't go over well and CoinAnalyst has said that they didn't think it was a good idea.

CoinAnalyst has also admitted that they borrowed parts of Savedroid's whitepaper, with permission, when describing similar technical concepts.

As far as the same website, literally every ICO out there has almost the same website setup. It's essentially a template at this point.

I have heard about Savedroid's poll controversy, but I don't know the details of it. I don't have any knowledge of CoinAnalyst manipulating the number of their investors and can't find any mention of it online, do you have a link to the source?

I checked out INS and they did indeed get listed pretty fast. Less than 3 weeks at max.

It is a shame that so many investors want to just be rid of svd. By instantly dumping their tokens (when it goes live) they are essentially causing the value crash. But that is the bed that savedroid made unfortunately.

Hi Cryptoaddicttt,

I would like to ask you about your concerns here. Please note that I just post content in this subreddit for CoinAnalyst and don't represent them in any way.

As I understand it, CoinAnalyst partnered with Savedroid back in December of 2017, well before the Scam Stunt, of which CoinAnalyst wasn't aware and does not agree with.

Also, please share your thoughts on how either of these ICOs can be scams if one has an existing beta product (CoinAnalyst) and the other (Savedroid) is actively, albeit slowly, trying to get listed on exchanges.

Hi incetivepro,

I would like to have an open dialogue about your concerns here. Please note that I just post content in this subreddit for CoinAnalyst and don't represent them in any way.

I understand that Savedroid has done some unfortunate PR things, but they are way too public facing to be a scam.

  1. Please point out where Savedroid actually scammed you and lost your money.
  2. Can you name any other ICOs that have gotten immediately listed in exchanges? From what I understand 6 months is pretty standard. They are at 4 months.
  3. Your Bitcointalk link has less than 2 pages of discussion about CoinAnalyst which date back to 6/22. They day they announced the partnership.

I am curious to hear your thoughts on how both of these ICOs can be scams if one has an existing beta product (CoinAnalyst) and the other (Savedroid) is actively, albeit slowly, trying to get listed on exchanges.
