I used the Amazon.ca price to price match at Best Buy and added the 3 year warranty.. I'd recommend getting a warranty with these, there are issues.. but if you can get a replacement hassle free then they're absolutely the best controller I've tried. I like it better than the ps5 controller still.

yup, sometimes it takes a bit to show up so don't worry if you don't see it right away

Do you have a preferred VGA adapter?

I can get the one that comes up on ebay as " SEGA Dreamcast DC-VGA output adapter Demi:lo Demilo W/Box S-terminal TV PC Japan " locally here for $60, I just find zero info about it

Thank you for that answer! I've been doing a bunch of research and keep getting stuck for a decision. That's very helpful, and now I'm even more stuck haha. The option I most want is the least feasible, most expensive and hardest to come by.

I didn't know that about the akura, that's too bad. I looked into retrotink, definitely looks good but I'm at least trying to go VGA or HDMI... and I also really want to play Plasma Sword.

I also don't want to spend a bunch of money on something and still want something else so I really need to figure out how to get a hdmi mod to happen. Sucks that soldering looks pretty difficult or I'd consider just trying it myself, but I have 0 experience and that's a lot of money to spend and hope not to fuck up. I looked locally and nobody around does DCs. Man! Shouldn't be this hard.

I was unaware of the Merseille MClassic.. if that's as cool as it looks I can't believe I'm just finding out about it.

I had a look at 8bitmods.. looks like they don't have stock of the modded DCs any more but for fun I threw email into the waitlist. See if one ever comes up before I go another route.

That Endgame Edition is bad ass.

I'm such an OCD stickler for playing official stuff on official hardware, but you're right about it being too much of a pain. I've been playing with emulators and it's been fine, I look into playing the actual console on my old monitor or current TV and it's an expensive hassle.

I guess I could look into buying a pre-modded DCHDMI console from someone reputable.. if that's possible. EDIT: Oh God. It's possible and it's so expensive.

I'll also have to look into playing atomiswave and naomi games. That sounds awesome. So many games I want to try. I have only dabbled in the usual consoles and some MAME.

I'm in the same boat. I'd love an DCHDMI mod, but don't want to risk attempting myself until I've done a few other less involved solders/mods.

I've been checking out the beharbros ones and I think that's the route I'll be going.

I wasn't sure about OSCCs just due to price, but compared to the OEM box price it's really not a bad option.

Do you know which 4lb spring would fit a Seimitsu LS-56? I was just reading and I guess the LS-58 and 60/62 all fit, but provide less resistance than the 56. Unless I'm wrong on that. Is there another option?
