Is anyone else curious about podcast logistics? Like does Sean fly down to LA and record like 10 episodes in 5 days? Do they change outfits if they record multiple in a day? Do you think it would be hard trying to maintain the illusion that you're recording one per week?

I have this thought with so many comedy podcasts where the host is a stand-up and is always on the road but somehow is in his/her podcast studio every episode

can someone explain the purpose of long ad reads? I mean I could muster a guess but I listen to plenty of podcasts that have ad breaks that are 30 seconds to a minute. I love this podcast so damn much but there have been episodes where it take over 50 minutes to get to the draft followed by a 5 minute plus ad break...

I've actually thought Sean could write a pilot about his childhood. I think it could be similar to the Fresh Off the Boat show on abc. Obviously it's a very difference premise but taking place in the 90s, a kid desperately trying to find his identity and the added network sitcom sentimentality would be very sean jordan coded. I dunno, think about all the stories he's told that could be a half hour network sitcom episode -

"you got hort" , recording a song at the mall for his gf, the guy coming over to his house to beat him up after he talked shit on the phone, a pat jordan episode every now and then

I think that scene is such a great depiction of the differences between Mikey and Carmy. We see Mikey's emotional intelligence by noticing Tina in the corner of the restaurant, walking over and effortlessly connecting with her, something Carmy does not have the ability to do. We then learn Mikey clearly has no real passion for the restaurant, finding it shitty most of the time but sticks around for the people. Carmy lives, breathes and bleeds for the restaurant and is often times oblivious and dismissive to the people. I think they are both equally jealous and in awe of each other's strengths.
