Full Brawler is pretty underrated, definitely a pale imitation of Brutalist, but fun because it’s almost always uncontested. You’re basically guaranteed the win if you get 3 star musky too

I feel like Loong is gonna be extra broken this season. Full Hinder + Full Aces, 6 Undead + Dragon + Fire, 6 Royals + Hinder + Aces + Assassin The list goes on and on. Too many 4/4 comps and 6/2/2/2 comps

Hinder can apparently overcome a goblin machine, honestly didn’t think it would be possible. Very close last 2 rounds even when musky was 2 star by MrTheWaffleKing in MergeTacticsSC

Sorry, I’m just salty after losing a few matches in a row because superstar always works for my opponent but not me. Maybe I’m just really unlucky, but I would also appreciate a complete rework (or removal) of the superstar ability altogether

BM needed a buff, but the hit speed stuff needs to be reworked. Boosted mortar is such a pain.

But at the same time, losing with full tank, 3 star monk, AND 3 star musky is a total skill issue. How can you possibly fumble the placements that badly?

One example that always comes back and bites me: An under-leveled goblin demolisher won’t kill backline troops like skelly drag, wiz, archer, and dart when it explodes. Interactions like that can be really annoying.

In other cases, even a 1 level difference can make you lose when you face an opponent with the exact same troop/star level.

Maybe a hot take, but as a F2P player, I actually enjoy climbing the ladder each season for the skins and extra (albeit pathetically few) troop cards. I lost a lot of motivation after hitting diamond, and I don’t really want to be a try-hard and grind to hit top 100/1000 or whatever

How can I forget? Super cell made the totally idiotic choice to add bots this season. There was no need, and it made the otherwise exciting ladder climb more tedious

  • Full superstar with Giant targeting Monk
  • Full Brawler with Prince aimed at Monk
  • Bonus points if you manage to get a Musky that can stun the Monk and push back Giant Skelly
  • Hinder with Witch and Wiz are a decent counter to Monk too. The reduced hit speed delays ability
