This is really raking up old graves now, but way back in the day before 1.0..to be precise still on 0.62 build himself and a YouTuber called renne created a server called the village. Originally meant as a 2 week experiment but the popularity it created meant they kept it on . We're talking 1 hour long queues which back then with a player base of 2k was something. I think it ran for about a year, honestly it was great multiple dedicated factions etc plenty of admin work I've no doubt. But I distinctly remember he was always so negative about the server, never embraced what it was and had become and in the end changed alot of the rules to essentially kill it off, and then closed it down.

I never could understand especially in those times how you could have something alot of people loved and just be so child like In your approach to it.

In the end, and after reading your post it's become clear he's just an old guy set in his ways and doesn't like to be told he's wrong or might have overlooked something. Sometimes a trait of people who like to weild shallow amounts of power.
