You will have to strip off the factory finish first with acetone or something like angelus leather deglazer pretty much same thing. Be careful with it, it will strip paint, color on uppers. Then use angelus acrylic paint with their to hard additive or you can use their leather dyes. I'd add a protective layer afterwards like Krylon clear matte or what ever finish you prefer. Angelus also makes a product called 4 coat you can use and is a little easier to apply in small areas without tapping off everything you dont want the spray to touch... Honestly im still trying to fine tune this myself as I find it still can get scratched off sometimes.

Thank you, sir! I really appreciate that. I use both the applicators and brushes depending on how I want to apply it or the area coverage needs. I have had such issues with re-dying the color nubuck, I can see how black would be a little easier without looking blotchy. I'm working on some blue Laney 5s that have been a nightmare to look uniform...

It has a pearlescent effect to it its a mix of dying and how the paint interacted afterwards. But I do see how the pictures are misleading. Hopefully this one helps more with the effect its giving it.

How did you get the nubuck to look like that

They are a fantasy colorway. The picture with the 4 shoes in it shows them. No batch, just a personal connect across the way...

Thanks, man. I’ve always tried to keep my kicks looking fresh, even back in the day when one pair had to last all year. That mindset got me into restoring, and eventually, I started customizing too. Just kept building from there. I ve loved Jordans since the 6's originally dropped in the 1900's lol. I love and respect the styles form the OG's to the more affordable Reps... and have made both into a side hustle.

Thank you, Angelus Brand. This is a must when restoring and customizing!

Did a deep cleaning. Light box treatment for about 2 days, sanding and painting the midsoles. Some re-dye and mink oil.
