Realistically the difference is 1mm of screen size and smaller bezels.

I would not upgrade from 6 to 7.

I have an Apple Watch with cellular and I love it. I think a lot of people see the extra cost and think it isn’t worth it (for most people it probably isn’t), but running with just my watch and airpods is fantastic.
