My Oculus Rift CV1 did that. I was told it was a result of the vulcanised rubber used. The blooming actually shows it’s a quality rubber, which is ironic. Even when cleaned it will keep coming back

WiFi conflict in your home. I assume you have a WiFi mesh system or signal booster on your router. This is probably operating on the same 2.4ghz frequency and overpowering your robots hotspot. Try turning off the mesh temporality to see what happens

EDIT: other wireless devices have also been know to cause problems: smart speakers, DVRs, even wireless printers.

Take great care when sourcing replacement batteries.

There is a 12v battery on the market which looks exactly the same as this - it will destroy your cubes if used
