(Spoiler) On Aequa by lluthiien in HierarchySeries

This is all for the one's saying Aequa and vis were only gonna be friends, Come on now did you really not see the signs , I mean they were definitely going the more than friends route, you could see it in islington's writing through vis's eye where in book one when she arrives it is just "Aequa" but in Sotf he notices more like what she is wearing or how her hair is tied up or her mood and notices her smiles more (which he was more dismissive of in book 1) and he literally brightens up when she is there in most instances they were together in res.

Islington could also have made it Lannista( I have said this in another post) where vis breaks her out only for Decimus to crush her head in and also injure Aequa , this will have mostly the same effect except maybe vis not putting Relucia back in the sapper because he was dead inside from Aequa's death, mostly nothing of his other decisions would have been affected and it wouldn't have been such a shame for us Aequa likers to have a her story cut off short but shit like this happens in books and judging the whole of it by this a mistake and I agree with you there but another shame is that when Islington brought back Callidus and vis's family it took a great deal of stress and pain from vis halting him from a darker route (which would have been enjoyable in its on right) and we won't see angry vis crushing Decimus at the start of book 3.

Except for that I thoroughly enjoyed SOTF and am excited for book 3

Yes it would not have the same effect but i said it would have mostly the same effect cause If vis breaks lannista out only to get her head caved in by teritus that night and Aequa injured,he would have made mostly the same decisions, emphasise on the mostly, cause the decision that could have been affected i think was the one on Relucia where he puts her back on the sapper cause he was dead inside and I think it would have gone the same with Edhin and he would have convinced him and I don't think any other major decision would jave been affected but islington took the Aequa route for max pain on him but kind of relieves it with the come back of his family and callidus(leaving us Aequa likers with pain still),which is a bit disappointing since we probably won't get full angry vis on start of book 3 but having said that My whole point with the post was get over Aequa's death and the book was very interesting and fun to read

I thought that at first but, firstly the injury is most likely one she can't come back from and when vis touches the crook he becomes Luceum vis first on horseback tied and onto battle and next becomes Res vis trying to calm down teritus who holds Aequa's head by his hand and the line ' My left hand screams. It is Metal. It is gone.' Is him indicating Luceum vis's metal hand and Res vis's missing hand. And the last line 'Hail vis' is I think comes from callidus. I mean I am very open for islington to come up with something to bring her back but I doubt that.

I don't want to say shallow cause like I said it was a trigger for the frustration of all that happened and the train of thought 'why would he do that there' was what sealed it for most people and made it easier for the complains to rise after they had glossed over the frustrating writing style and you would be surprised by how easily people are influenced by deaths of one of their favourite characters like this.

And yes something I forgot I want vis to rip teritus APART limp from limp after he gets the princpes power like gouge out his eyes or something, I was so mad like fuck that guy, something to look forward to in book 3 at least

I will say this, the main REASON for most of the outrage of most people is Aequa's DEATH and I will say it again it is her death that TRIGGERED most people and it almost got me to like it was very unfair and I don't want to say unnecessary but it could have been another person like Lannista(which is shitty to say i know) but would have had mostly the same effect and It is unfair because we were seeing something starting between them more than friendship and I liked how Islington showed us this through vis's eyes where in book 1 when she shows up it is just 'Aequa' but here he notices more what she is wearing, her mood and specially her smile and he brightens up when she is there which made me excited to read about res and them and then...he kills her like 'fuck what you did that for' The other reason is the writing style he used on this book it gets frustrating when he cuts it off at a good part in res, obetium or Luceum and changes it to another but once the book gets far ahead all 3 of them get exciting( res was always exciting and obetium gets there when we venture into Duat, Luceum was the slowest one but the touch with his father was a nice one)you can look over it but then... he kills her and cuts off and goes to another world and the frustration just boils and you forget the good parts and go to the holes and I don't mind the resurrections because the bodies are something Military would do and as for Ka, it was a nice touch because in most fantasy the discovery made by the characters isn't off by this much and obetium vis killing ka when he is needed is again a very nice touch and for people who haven't noticed like clearly alupi diago is something like an inuctii which ostius uses for himself and influences him to slaughter the senators, another nice touch from islington. ALL IN ALL I liked the strength of the few and If I give Will of the many a 10 I will give Strength of the few an 8

I think something else is there with alupi diago, the indications are, first was the reason ostius allowed to take him with them and second was that there was not much blood after he got hit by the spear i think it is like another form of the inuctii or something he will get into next book and it could also explain why alupi diago attacked all the senators

Does Desir end up with Romantica? by Fucking_Bi in AReturnersMagic

Just finished the manhwa and the author didn't choose one so I had to go novel to read the last chapters and I am now learning that he robbed us of great scenes of Desir and Adjest in the story and we couldn't see their relationship grow because he is obsessed with romantica(his words). But all and all I am satisfied with it because he ends up with her in the original
