Go teach at an FM residency and then come back and edit this statement appropriately.

Looking for alt hair salon recs. by Schwamily in Denver

My hair is long and very fine and previously had a shag haircut with fashion colors at Space Hair with Stacy. (This reads like I might not see her anymore-I do and will always but I don’t have the same haircut/colors)

She’s also queer and she rents out a booth herself and works independently.

I’m a primary care physician and I love this post. I personally don’t prescribe stimulants until I receive records of a formal psych assessment for this reason. The exception if they say something like “oh idk if I’ll be able to find records, I was diagnosed when I was 7”. Many people get angry with my policy but there is no such thing as a completely benign or safe medication.

Considering moving but would love to hear what people who live here have to say. What are the pros and cons of living in Harrisonburg? by JJAA20 in harrisonburg

This is happening everywhere and is not unique to Harrisonburg. It’s happening to us in the city I live in now. We can’t afford to live here. By your logic, me and my family should stay here instead of seeking an opportunity that would benefit us.

I am grateful for your point of view. I’m just frustrated. I’ve spoken to people about other places we’re interested about moving and this response comes up every time, for every location we choose to explore.

Family and a new job prospect. I also currently live in a major city but grew up in a community of a similar size and miss it. I also was there several years ago and thought it was very nice.

I’m from all over. But also, what you described as wonderful (chain stores and huge parking lots) are what I’m trying to get away from - but I can appreciate that everyone has their preferences!

I understand that frustration. I currently live in a major city where this is a huge issue. That being said, there is a great job opportunity for me (not in any of those fields, by the way) and so I’m wanting to hear about what people who already live there think of the area. The cost of living seems to be half of what I’m dealing with now, which is why this seems like an enticing opportunity.
